Ripped Off
Because you are being ripped off by your courier you choose to do the same to us, the customer. Your charge for delivery is far too high for an item that is only 2ozs. When i brought this to their attention they then decided to ignore me. It wasn't even DHL doing the delivery as they quoted, but someone else DHL had brought in to do their job for them. At the end of the day, a 2oz bit of metal should not be costing anything like £44.

Hello Mr Newton.
As outlined in the response to your email on the 28th January although the item itself is very light, we use a single carrier for all consignments under 30kg. This carrier charges us a standard rate per shipment, regardless of the individual item’s weight. Unfortunately, we aren’t charged based on ounces or grams, but on a fixed banded service that also covers handling, packaging, tracking, and delivery. As we also explained, as a small business we try to absorb delivery costs where possible and both the RRP and delivery costs are clearly displayed at checkout prior to payment and placing an order online.
We also have no control over who DHL choose to deliver their consignments, what is important to us is that they are delivered on the date requested by you the customer as was in this case.
As for the cost of the item itself, this is the retail price as set by the manufacturer.
