It is that ethos that makes Taylor Made Securities an attractive outfit to hire or to find work with. Additionally, Taylor Made promotes self-development through the courses that it provides. I myself completed the Close Protection and an additional Emergency First Aid at Work course in 2019 and found it is suitably challenging and thought provoking. The course director Anthony Bates, demonstrably has decades of experience, is engaging, encouraging and supportive of the students.

I completed the Close protection course with Taylor made securities in 2019. The trainer Tony was very experienced in CP so I feel I was able to take much more away than just what we were taught. Even though it was a 17 day course everyday was different and Tony made sure there was a good mix of theory and practical to keep us engaged. I really enjoyed the course and felt confident that I had been taught everything I needed to know.

I did my CP course in march 2019. With Taylormade Security it was a very well run and organised course with only 7 candidates the instructor was able to fly along and offer help if needed would highly recommend them. The accommodation was second to none and close by so no commuting time the instructor had lots of experience and time to chat when free.

Trained with TMS in September 2020. Prior to attending the course with TMS Mick, the managing director, was very helpful over the phone. It’s a big investment and he guided myself through it and was very attentive to any questions I had. Absolutely superb course with an outstanding setting and instructor. Tony Bates (Maverick) is an exceptional instructor with quite clearly, years of experience. When applicable he helped us out of hours with bits that we were perhaps stuck on, which really helped me personally. More than anything he was really approachable throughout the course. Along with this, Mick visited us as much as he could throughout the whole course, again, very approachable and you could tell he cared about how we were doing as some of it was quite tricky for individuals.
I have worked directly for TMS since the course within a large team, very dynamic and busy task however Mick was there everyday as our main POC. I think this is a great reflection on the company itself as it’s very rare for the MD to be on task so frequently. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to get into Close Protection. Ex forces / Police or not, it’s a great insight. And if you’re lucky enough to get offered work with them afterwards, take it...

Working with Mick and the team has been a pleasure. I have worked on many varied tasks and enjoyed them all. Hopefully more tasks in the near future.
