Great quality and customer service.
I had an issue with my order due to poor packaging and shipping, but Katie Brown at Timbersource handled it exceptionally well. She responded quickly, took my concerns seriously, and ensured the problem was resolved without hassle. The quality of the Ash itself is excellent, and I’m very happy with my purchase. Wood for furniture - arrived quickly, well packaged but some pieces cupped.
Ordered boards for express delivery. Followed up when didn't arrive and had some small board jointed - ok jointing, I'm guessing not used dominos, just glued up, some v. small gap, that I can live with.
PAR boards though, I'd have expected to be flat - no cupping. Maybe that is unrealistic, not sure if you have to specify that the timber will be used for furniture. Will need to get the plane out.
re: the cupping, not sure if the wood is kiln dried, but will require more work than I expected - which was basically pay for the timber so I could glue up a desk top. Maybe unrealistic, but painful when cupping means wood isn't at a point where I can just glue up right away.
Edit - Just to clarify, I think the above sounds harsher than I intended. The boards were fine, I think the above sounds worse than I intended, it was a fine. It wasn't as if the boards were a semi circle :) It was a few minutes with an electric sander...

Fast service…
Pick up my timber less than 24 hours after placing order. When I arrived it was all ready and waiting and exactly what I had asked for. Good quality boards and the Timbersource team helped load it into my vehicle - which wasn’t easy as I had underestimated the length !

Really helpful and considerate staff
Really helpful and considerate staff. I went there wanting to buy some off cuts for a small project, and was given some free pieces of White Ash and American Oak as they had stopped selling small off cuts. They couldn't have been friendlier.

Hardwood boards
We ordered a cut version of its standard hardwood boards and they arrived exactly on time, undamaged and cut perfectly correctly. The price was very reasonable. What more can you want? Highly Recommended .
