THE ABSOLUTE WORST
The customer service reps have a tough time communicating/understanding english (sorry, don't mean to sound bias - but an agent needs to have enough english to communicate beyond a scropt and repeating the same info OOVER and OVER).
I have asked for access to a manager or a manager call back 4 times. Was assured that I would receive a call back, that did not happen. The last call, the agent refused to contact a manager until I told her why I wanted to speak with one!

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. Clear communication and proper escalation support are important to us, and we’re disappointed to learn that this did not meet expectations on this occasion.

We understand how frustrating it can be to request a call‑back or escalation and not have this followed through as expected. Your comments have been noted and will be shared internally so we can review how these situations are handled and improve the consistency of our service.

If you’re still seeking support, we’d welcome the opportunity to review your experience further. Please respond to our message so we can look into this further.

Avoid at all cost!

If there was a zero star option or negative stars, that’s what I would choose. This company approved my claim to replace the canister that holds transmission fluid in my truck because it had a hole or tear in the seam. Then denied the claim to replace the whole transmission due to “overheating and contamination”. The tear in the canister caused the low fluid and internal damage to the transmission. There would be no overheating or contamination if the part was not defective. The root cause is not overheating, it’s the defective canister which they approved and paid for. This claim should be approved. Beware of the shady deceptive practices of this company. Steer clear AT ALL COST. If this is not approved I will be seeking legal action.

*Added reply. While I appreciate your reply, it is inconsistent with the terms of my contract. “ In some cases, related components may be covered while consequential damage or failures caused by conditions such as overheating or contamination may fall outside of cover, even where an earlier repair has been approved. We appreciate that this distinction isn’t always clear and can understandably feel unfair.” This distinction isn’t unclear. It is very clearly a contradiction of the terms of the contract. Section V, 7B of my contract states verbatim:
“Coverage will be provided for the failure of a non-covered part resulting from a breakdown of a covered part.” The documentation provided by dealership service clearly states the cause of damage was from the failure of the mechanical part that was replace and fully covered under the warranty. I have already requested of review of this denial. That process has started and all of this information has been submitted as well. The purpose of my review is to share my experience. I do not appreciate being taken advantage of and I expect for businesses such as yours to honor the terms of contracts and conduct business in an ethical manner.

We’re sorry to read how disappointing this experience has been and understand why this situation feels frustrating, particularly where significant repairs were involved.

While we can’t discuss specific claim decisions publicly, warranty assessments are based on the confirmed cause of failure and the terms of the policy. In some cases, related components may be covered while consequential damage or failures caused by conditions such as overheating or contamination may fall outside of cover, even where an earlier repair has been approved. We appreciate that this distinction isn’t always clear and can understandably feel unfair.

We take concerns about claim decisions seriously and would welcome the opportunity to review your case in full to ensure it was assessed correctly and in line with the policy. If you’re willing, please respond to our message so we can look into his for you.

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

I have extended warranty on my LEVC…

I have extended warranty on my LEVC taxi through TWG and to keep this extended warranty you have to have the taxi serviced every 25k miles. They give you 1000 miles leeway. I lost my best mate 3 weeks ago who passed away at age 33 suddenly. My head has not been with it and I’ve went over the leeway by 180 miles. The taxi is getting serviced today and TWG have advised that in this instance they will no longer merit the extended warranty and they are being firm on it. I think this is shocking giving the circumstances. It’s 180 miles which can easily be done in 2 days in the taxi! Shocking from a large company like yourselves! Be aware

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I’m very sorry to hear about your recent loss. We completely understand that this has been an incredibly difficult time for you, and I’m sorry that dealing with your warranty added to that stress.

The servicing requirements and mileage limits are set out in the policy terms, and they must be followed to keep the extended warranty valid. However, we understand how easily mileage can increase in a short space of time, especially when driving a taxi, and we’re sorry that the circumstances weren’t what you would have wanted at such a difficult moment.

We’d really like the opportunity to review your case in more detail to ensure everything has been handled fairly and correctly. If you’re happy too, please respond to our message so we can make sure this is passed to the right team.

Thank you again for your feedback, and our sincere condolences once again.

TWG have said i will have to pay to have the glow plugs removed and photographs sent in. Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced with your vehicle and the frustration this has caused. We understand how concerning it is when unexpected repairs occur, especially after purchasing an extended warranty.

The request for photographs is part of our standard assessment process to verify the nature of the failure and ensure that the claim is handled correctly. This helps us confirm whether the issue falls within the warranty coverage terms. We appreciate that you already have a diagnostic report, and we encourage you to include that along with the photographs to support your claim.

Please respond to our message so we can ensure these concerns are escalated. Your feedback is important to us, and we’ll review this internally to see how we can make the process clearer and more efficient.

Absolute joke and just scammers… AVOID!!

Absolute joke and just scammers! Do NOT buy their warranty unless you want to waste your money.

My partners Audi developed a fault and she managed to limp it to a nearby garage. As her car was in a safe position it took the RAC 4 days to tow (absolutely appalling) it to the garage so we could get it fixed under warranty (or so we thought).

It turns out that there are very little garages who actually deal with this warranty company as they are known to be hard to deal with. We paid an extra £1049 for the warranty to then find out that it’s not much use.

The warranty company refused to pay for the entire repair even though it was clearly not a part which is on the excluded part list or a part subject to being a wear and tear item which would be replaced during routine servicing etc. They would only pay more if inferior parts are used which will obviously have a shorter service life. They refused to pay for bolts as well as the replaced belt and the coolant which would all be routinely changed as part of the new water pump/thermostat being fitted.

I’ve read the T&C and accept them not paying towards the dismantling, diagnostics costs or items which are service items but not paying for other repairs, because they don’t wish to pay for is just a huge con.
You can pay £1049 for warranty cover, but they will find any excuse to avoid paying, be warned! I wish we would have checked the reviews before buying this policy…

They rob people !! Please avoid

They make excuses to reject claim.
Please avoid them, you will end up paying alot more.
I paid £1000 for extended warranty. I only had 1 claim after 2.5 years and they rejected saying the gap between full service is 12000 miles so it is invalid!! The mileage for full service is 20000 as per manufacturer.
But trust me, they are not there to help you , they are vultures robbing innocent people and funny enough car dealers are their crime partners. In my case it was the carshop. So please avoid them.

Avoid these scammers

Radiator had a leak between the plastic cap and metal core, photos sent to twg of the radiator in place on the car showing no damage to the radiator and all fins perfect condition. They insisted the part was removed for additional photos. In removing the radiator the garage bent a small amount of fins. Twg now claim impact damage was the cause even thought the bent fins are the other side of the radiator from the leak site. The in place photos show the areas they claim to have impact damage with no marks. They are atrocious and take days to respond to any communication. Avoid these scammera at all cost they will not pay out! £1000 premium and they will not even cover a £300 radiator replacement

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're genuinely sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the outcome of your claim and the service you received.

We understand how frustrating it can be when a claim doesn’t go as expected, especially when you've taken the time to provide photos and documentation. Our claims process requires a thorough assessment to ensure fairness and accuracy for all parties involved. In this case, additional images were requested to help clarify the nature of the damage, and we regret that this led to further complications.

We also acknowledge your concerns about response times. We're continuously working to improve our communication and support, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us do that.

I am sorry for the impact that the conclusion of your claim has come to, however if you are happy too, please can you respond to our message so this can be escalated to the right team.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and I’m truly sorry to hear about the frustration and inconvenience you’ve faced. We understand how upsetting it is to have your vehicle off the road for an extended period, especially when you’ve invested in a protection plan for peace of mind.

Please be assured that we take all complaints seriously, and it’s never our intention to leave customers feeling unsupported. While we aim to process claims as quickly and fairly as possible, some cases—particularly those involving electrical faults—can require additional investigation to ensure they fall within the scope of the warranty coverage.

That said, three weeks without progress is clearly not acceptable, and I sincerely apologise for the lack of communication and resolution. If you’ve already submitted a formal complaint and haven’t received a response, I’d like to personally ensure this is followed up as a priority.

Please can you respond to our message so we can ensure this is chased up. We’re committed to resolving this for you and restoring your confidence in our service.

TWG taking 1 week just to get back to a garage to see if I can get air con repaired under their warranty work & they finally replied saying they need pictures to investigate. That’s a bad service it should not take 1 week to respond back and now I got to wait even longer plus the weekend to see if I can get a repair authorised.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m really sorry to hear about the delay you experienced with your air conditioning repair request.

We completely understand how frustrating it is to wait, especially when you're relying on a timely response to get your vehicle back in full working order. While we sometimes need additional information like photos to properly assess a claim, the initial delay in communication you described is not the level of service we aim to provide.

If you’re still waiting on an update or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to respond to our message so we are able to chase this up for you and raise your concerns to the relevant team.

Total scam

Total scam. Sold an entirely different policy. They only authorize junk the cheapest parts available, they are not staffed, noone answers the phone, on hold for literally hours. Completely disorganized and do not work with dealer estimates. Good Luck finding a garage who will work with them and that is how they get out of their claims. Total scam.

Hi Laura

I am sorry to hear you are unhappy. All of our repairs are conducted in line with the Terms and Conditions of your warranty plan.

There are limitations to labour rate and independent garages or main dealers may charge more, leaving a shortfall. However all of our RAC approved garages and FixMyCar garages, work within our labour rates.

So we can look into your claim, could you please respond to our Trustpilot message with some more details to locate your policy.

Don't bother

Had a crank pulley failure and tried claiming under the extended warranty. Although this wasn't an excluded part they hid behind a catch all wear and tear clause which was written in an ambiguous way. In truth I'm not sure what part of a car that isn't subject to wear and tear! I would of taken the claim further but due to the relatively low dispute sum and the company being registered in the Isle of Man (which means you would have to attend court there), it just wasn't worth it. Lesson learned - don't bother paying for any extended warranties for anything. Put the money that you would pay aside for situations such as this.

Very good experience

My computer has been insured with Protect Your Bubble for a few years, and when it wasn't working recently, I contacted them. The whole process of getting the laptop sent away and repaired was all made very easy. The customer service representatives were very pleasant and helpful, and were able to advise me about what I needed to do, and the collection and delivery services went very smoothly. I was very happy with how it all went.
