The Van About Town Reviews

Really happy with the service in helping us move home, the guys were punctual, professional and really friendly to boot. Our possessions arrived at our new home in fantastic condition and they are really affordable. Thanks again guys for making our move a smooth transition

Very happy with the job that we had done, friendly reliable efficient – very good all-round. In future I wouldn’t try anybody else I will just go straight to Van about town.

pain free service, done exactly as asked, turned up on time, took great care with belongings all in all a very professional service. Will be using again

Paul moved my furniture and belongings into storage for me. He was helpful and friendly from the first contact; even when I had to change the date at short notice, he did everything he could to accommodate me. Issues arose but Paul solved every one. I loved his "can-do" attitude!

He and his crew, Brian and Adam, worked well together, their speed and care inspired confidence, and I appreciated their humour throughout.

When I'm ready to pull the stuff out of storage, this company will be the first I ask. Go with these guys - you'll be pleased you did!

Used Van About Town to move a large table and 10 chairs as needed a large vehicle in order to fit. Quick, efficient and friendly service. Well worth it as eliminated all hassle trying to organise the move myself!

Very quick and efficient, and reasonably priced too!

Have used this company before and they’re always on time, efficient and inexpensive. Far easier than hiring a van, asking friends for help and probably damaging your furniture in the process. These guys are professional, use them.

Paul was very helpful and explained the costings, which were very fair. I booked for the disposal of some furniture items and was very pleased with the service provided. The work was done punctually, efficiently and carefully. I would certainly book again and recommend The Van about Town to others.

Fantastic service. Very pleasant workmen arrived at the time specified and a job well done. Very pleased!

My first time ever doing a move and I had many boxes and furniture. I had many quotes from other providers who were very over priced but I was very happy I chose The Van About Town. Their prices are amazing and they were so helpful. Plenty of room in their van which fit a lot of my belongings including some large furniture. They were efficient, fast and kind. Thank you again for making my experience positive and easy to make a choice. Your service is very much appreciated and I will spread the word. I will definitely use The Van About Town again and again!!!! :-) Thank you Paul.

I can’t recommend Paul and his team highly enough. They took charge of our move from London to Suffolk, making what could have been a pretty stressful day quite the opposite. All furniture was carefully and efficiently packed into the van, nothing was damaged. Moving house can be a nightmare, thanks to the van about town crew this was not the case for us.

I used The Van about Town for a commercial move I found the website easy to navigate and accept the quote. They were reasonably priced compared with other quotes received.
Arrived on time (even moved a few jobs around to be there a little earlier!). We had a tight turnaround and Paul and his team were very efficient and helpful. They even removed some fixed items from the walls for us and arranged for items to be disposed of.
i would definitely recommend them and if i were moving again that area i would use them again.

Paul and Adam fully deserve their reputation. Courteous and professional from start to finish. Great fun as well! Look no further.

Brilliant, friendly and inexpensive service. I recommend The Van about Town 1000%. Thank you guys

Extremely good service, highly recommended!

What can I say except absolutely brilliant in every respect.Would use again in a heartbeat and reccommend 100 percent.

Quick, efficient and friendly. Great local business. Highly recommend.
Small removal job and dump delivery.

So glad I used Paul to move a large heavy riser/recliner chair from Margate to Norfolk. He arrived bang on time and went out of his way to reassemble it the other end for a disabled friend. Highly recommend his services.

Punctual, friendly, efficient service. Would highly recommend
