Magnificent palace and chateau.
This was a great tour. We didn’t know what to expect as far as travel was concerned but the bus ride was great and efficient in the heavy traffic.
When we got to Fontenbleu it was a delightful surprise. It was another Versailles without the glitz and huge crowds. The history was so interesting and the facilities were plenty. The next chateux (I find it hard to spell it) was beautiful too. The audio experience worked very well for us and was a new way of experiencing such an historic chateaux. We would highly recommend this tour. It was good value for money.

Rome and Florence tours
Easy to find the meeting points, tour guides were very good, good communication and pricing was similar or cheaper than other companies. We did a Vatican with St Peters in Rome and in Florence a food tour a couple of weeks ago. I would definitely recommend The Tour Guy to anyone.

To provide some context, the Gladiator's Gate is the specific historic tunnel used to step directly out onto the Arena Floor. Because you cannot access the Arena Floor without passing through this exact gate, entering the arena means you did indeed experience the Gladiator's Gate. We completely understand how the unique layout of the Colosseum can sometimes be confusing on-site, but we want to assure you that the exclusive access promised in your booking was fully delivered.

To provide some context, timing in these busy historic venues can occasionally be impacted by crowd control and entry delays on-site. To provide a bit of context, we utilize high quality audio systems designed to help travelers hear perfectly even in crowded, noisy monuments, but occasionally technical glitches can occur on individual devices. While a single equipment malfunction is a frustrating setback, we do feel a one star rating is a bit harsh for an issue that our team could have easily replaced on the spot had we been notified during the walk.
