I recently had to provide proof of employment, proof that I'm not in the probationary period of my employment, my annual gross salary, and my last four months payslips to a Tenancy Managers Agent, as part of the process to get approved to rent a room in a house.

The Sterling Group HR Manager initials (K.W.) immediately understood what needed to be done and sent the requested documents to the Tenancy Managers Agent without delay.

On top of that she also arranged for a colleague of hers at The Sterling Group to contact me, so I can authorise Sterling Group to file my taxes with HMRC for when I work as a Sole Trader.

All my questions answered & all my requests granted, with no hassle, this company gets top marks!

Absolutely awful.

You pay tax.
National insurance.
THEIR national insurance.
An apprentice levy.

All tallies up to approx 40% of wages.

Absolutely unbelievable!!

They try to explain where how and why, but they cannot justify that amount of stoppages!!!

I'd give them zero stars, but cannot sadly.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

there are other, better, cheaper umbrella companies to deal with that these!!!
