The Stable Door was a great experience

The Stable Door was a great experience! Ordered a couple pairs of boots online and everything was fine. Shipping was fast, communication was clear and very helpful throughout the process and the boots came as expected. Absolutely love my purchase and would definitely order from them again.

No good.

Ordered online, size is ridiculously small for a Medium sized shirt.
Huge long process to try and get a return, many emails...with them having to "approve" it.
Then I get option of exchange or credit...of which I want neither. I wanted a refund.
Will resell the shirt online and get money back rather than support this shonky shop and their ludicrous processes.

Damaged Akubra hat, lack of service in regards to returning item.

I bought an Akubra hat online from the stable door.
It arrived wrapped too tightly in bubble wrap that damaged the brim and it looks very noticeable.
The hat also had other damage including dimples /soft spots on the crown and damage to the leather band inside the hat that was obviously damaged prior to packing for shipping.
I took the courtesy of calling with my concerns and the salesman on the phone did not like that I was upset and threatened to hang up on me.
Twenty minutes later I received a call from a lady who told me she would get back to me the next day, it is now 13 days later and I still haven't heard from anyone.
I emailed explaining my concerns with photos too.
I have tried contacting them again on the phone and via email but have not heard back.
My assumption is that they have stalled so that it's outside their return policy of 14 days. I did call and email as soon as I received the item.
Shameful and unethical on many levels.
