Very Dissappointed
Firstly I did not receive my 2 tins of creamed sweetcorn and secondly I was seriously upset with the quality of the 6 Gem squash I ordered as they were old and orange in colour and 2 of them were the smallest gems I have ever seen. Certainly nothing like the photos.

Please note that the gem squash we currently sell is fresh and recently harvested and is not old stock. Depending on the growing conditions and maturity at harvest, gem squash can develop a more yellow color and may differ from the deep green appearance you are familiar with.

Ordered Boerewors and Gem squashes
Ordered Boerewors and Gem squashes. Not tried the Boerewors yet. Bit disappointed about the gem squashes. They are all yellow already. Since there are only two in our household I was hoping to stretch them out but looking at them we will have to eat them as soon as possible.

We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the gem squash. Please note that the current crop is fresh and was recently harvested, and the yellow coloring is not an indication that the squash is from an older crop or past its best.
Due to growing conditions and maturity, some gem squash can develop a more yellow color while still being fresh and suitable to eat. We do understand, however, that you were expecting the familiar green gem squash and wanted to keep them for longer.
