Just noticed that £32.99 was taken out…

Just noticed that £32.99 was taken out of my bank a/c and today I received a box of paperbacks which I never ordered from "The rewards club". Ive never joined a rewards club. Looked on here and realised that this is linked to EasyLife which I ordered something from last year. I'm 81 so another elderly person scammed. Just been onto the bank who are going to cancel any further payments from:
Lifestofrs Kent.
How can these people continue to get away with it its beyond me. I will update further.

This company has been taking irregular…

This company has been taking irregular payments from my aunt's bank account ever since a purchase made from company called Easylife. These payments have shown as premierclub0345174 on her statements. Payments of £58.99 have been noted. It would appear that 'Easylife', 'Rewardsclub' 'premiumclub' are all linked, and entries on bank statements can appear from any of them. The initial purchase of items were made back in December 2024 from Easylife, made on her then debit card, This card has now been changed a further twice, yet payments are still coming out from the bank account! Is this a failing of the bank now? These companies are obtaining the bank details somehow, and are sharing the data around, so the bank should be able to stop this fraudulent action, and refund any payments made from her account. Perhaps the only way to be totally free from these scammers/crocked companies is to open another bank account thus breaking the chain these companies appear to have over the account holder. Good luck everyone.

Warning: The Rewards Club Takes Money Without Permission – Avoid at All Costs

This company, The Rewards Club, has been taking money from my bank account for the past 13 months without my knowledge or consent. I never signed up for any service from them, yet they managed to obtain my bank details from another company called Easylife, with whom I made a separate purchase. I did not authorise any payments or memberships with The Rewards Club.

To make matters worse, they also operate under another name – Premium Club – which makes it even more confusing and difficult to track where your money is going. This appears to be a deliberate tactic to mislead and trap people into ongoing charges.

This kind of underhanded, unethical behavior is disgraceful. I urge anyone reading this to steer well clear of The Rewards Club (and Premium Club) — and be cautious about companies like Easylife who pass on your details without permission.

Check your bank statements and take action immediately if you see charges from them. This is not a legitimate business practice.

Charged my grandmothers card who has…

Charged my grandmothers card who has been dead since February, her bank account remained open to sort out final payments from insurance and over payments from pensions. Called their helpline who told me she had resigned up, she’s been dead for 2 months, I find that pretty hard to believe she has the ability to unless she reached out from the grave. Taking it to the fraud department of the bank and looking into what officials I can also contact.

Scammers

This company is not reputable at all. They should have no stars if at all possible.

Like others, when helping my parents with their finances I noticed money going out to PodsClub0345174. This was December 2024. It was after they had purchased something from EasyLife. After contacting the bank's fraud department I got all the money back (it was around £250). Then in March I noticed that PremierClub0345174 had taken money out. Again contacted the bank and money was refunded.

The bank explained that they use what is called a token which is the link between the bank and your card, so even if the card is replaced the token is still active and that is how they can still take money. Hopefully this token is now cancelled and they will stop.

I would recommend keeping an eye on accounts going forward just in case they change their name again. I think they should be called though DickTurpin0345174.

My 74-year-old mother was scammed by…

My 74-year-old mother was scammed by this so-called company over a period of 6 months.
They started taking £10.00 at a time over a twice monthly period, it then escalated to 39.99. Thats when we blocked the credit card. A new card was issued with a new number, but still they managed to obtain further payments of 10.00x3 and 19.99, we are still baffled as to how.
Please be aware, up to December the payments were going out as Rewards club, after they were reprimanded, the payments started coming out as Premier club.
This has now been reported as fraud to the credit card company and they are pursuing the money on her behalf and the credit card account shut down for safe measure.
I really do implore anyone with an elderly relative to watch their bank balance and what's going out if they have ordered from Easylife.
This is a nasty SCAM.

Easylife are still at it…

I found strange activity on my mother’s account. After going through her bank statements over the past year it started when she ordered some items from Easylife (which she never received). Then she had money coming out every month from a company called rewardsclub and then changed the name to premierclub. So I cancelled her card and reported it as fraudulent and the bank thankfully refunded her money back. Even though Easylife have been fined and stopped practicing this fraudulent act back in December they are still doing it. They are no better than the local smack head snatching an orderly woman’s bag on the high street, they just do it wearing a suit and driving a sports car.

Dangerous scammed my 91 year old father and took money from his bank account without authorisation. Rewards Club preying on vulnerable elderly people. resulting in cards being blocked. thankfully the bank was smart enough to step in and they got nothing. Premierclub03451740503 is what comes up. tried to take £66.00 few weeks ago, card blocked new one issued. new card then tried for £99 yesterday how they get the details is beyond me, they cant answer that question either. called them direct to remove all details and subscriptions. waiting on another new card, meanwhile no card to use for general things, very big inconvenience!

Therewardsclub have taken unauthorised payments from the account of an elderly relative of mine. I've contacted them and they deny any knowledge in spite of overwhelming evidence. Unauthorised payments have also been taken by entities called Easylife and PremierClub. These 3 entities are all linked and carry out fraud. Avoid and report any contact to the police.

They should be investigated and prosecuted

After cancelling an attempted subscription on 2021, There has been two attempts to take £66.99 in January and February 2025. Spotted the February one whilst it was still pending payment. Checked for any previous payments and came across the January payment.
The bank is dealing with this on my behalf and have put a block on any payments to the company.

After reading the other reviews, I am amazed that the police are not investigating this as a serious crime.
Previous data protection judgements against them have resulted in fines that are a small proportion of the money embezeled from these vulnerable people.

This is nothing more than a criminal enterprise that should be shutdown by the authorities. Obtained my elderly mother's bank details from another company called EasyLife and has proceeded to take money from her account over the past 4 months. Reported to the bank as a fraud.

If I could give zero I would. My Dad ordered a hearing aid in July 24, in November I noticed he had been getting £19.99 every fortnight taken from his account via 'rewards club' he never signed up, total scam. When I phoned them they then took a further £65.99 x 2 and £76.99 x 2 while I was on the phone to the bank to sort out.

Not a 'Rewards' Club. Not easy and straightforward has characteristics of a scam.

I received a telephone call from The Rewards Club and was told that if I sign up I would receive a £20 voucher. All I would have to do is buy some petrol in any retailer or purchase groceries in any supermarket and then claim my reward over the telephone - very easy and straightforward.
I contacted Morgan in line with the terms & conditions received in the post and was told my voucher would be sent out. IT NEVER ARRIVED. I telephoned again and the customer 'services' officer kept putting obstacles in the way. I demanded to speak to a Team Leader and was put through to Edward. He kept telling me I now had to purchase something from one of the brochures they were promoting in order to claim my voucher. I told him this was not in line with what I was initially told on the telephone or in line with their written terms & conditions received. He still insisted and so I read out word for word their t & c's, he then said 'oh ok' ! ! He then said he would pass my details on to another team and they would email me back. He then started to terminate the call - I said you haven't even got my email address so how are they going to email me ? 'Oh' he said you better give me your email address. It was clear to me that he had no intention of passing on my details. Guess what - no email or further contact was received. Apparently you can only complain in writing, which I have now done on two occasions and no formal response has been received after 3 months. I have confirmation that my letters were received however, they do not even have the courtesy of responding.
Overall it is not easy and straightforward as they tell you, the staff and unreliable and not at all trustworthy.
I would say this is not a 'Reward' club but has clear and evident characteristics of a 'Scam. club.
