Very disappointing for the price
Very disappointing for the price
I ordered two dresses from Reformation costing almost £800 in total, so I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, they arrived poorly packaged in a flimsy brown envelope, with each dress simply inside a cheap cellophane bag.
Both dresses were heavily creased, and the material and overall fit felt very disappointing for the price. I honestly cannot understand how Reformation can justify charging £395 for a satin slip dress when the quality does not reflect that price point.
At this price, I expected beautiful quality, careful packaging and a premium feel. Instead, the dresses felt no better than something I could buy from Zara or Mango — and at a fraction of the cost.
Sadly, nowhere near worth the prices they charge.
Awesome place to shop
Everyone was awesome in the store. The store manager Kristen was the best. I came to look and walked out with a few items. Great cilustomer service, the quality of the garments is impeccable and the atmosphere is so chill and relax.
Horrible quality
Bought a reformation allium dress for $100 on poshmark and even that felt too expensive for the quality of the dress I got. Glad I never wasted money on reformation at full price because of all of the negative comments on reddit.
Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service, im not sure if its fwb specific or the general customer service, but i have contacted them a couple times for things and always got a solution better than what i expected, which has never been the case with any other brand.
In terms of quatlity of the items, so far everything i got has been great. I love every item i have from years ago until now. There are items that i would not buy, but its easy to see on the photos and the material description beforehand, how the item will be.
Returns and Exchanges ARE A PAIN
They need to fix the returns/exchange process:
* They forced me to create an account to return. There is a button to proceed without an account, but it doesn't work, so you're still forced.
* If you bought a Long, you have to exchange for a different size Long. Regular should also be an option. Because of this we had to return and re-buy.
* We returned and selected store credit, but they forced me to enter a credit card number to proceed, even though I wasn't paying any $. I've never seen this before.
* You can't reach a person on chat to save your life.
The entire process was very sneaky and one sided, making sure Reformation captures your email and credit card, while creating a total hassle for the customer.

I love your clothing
I love your clothing, however, I do not like that you are always out of everything that I like...I join the wait list but nothing seems to come of it. very frustrating

I had a situation where my shirt was held in customs, so I got emails from ups telling me it was in the Netherlands and required additional documentation. I didn’t know what to do and didn’t get much help. I wasn’t able to get my shirt in time for my trip like I wanted.
Non-polyester clothes worth the price, misrepresented ship dates are not
I love your clothes, so much that I average at least a piece a month because the quality, granted the clothes are not made with polyester, is worth it. Customer service is always on top of things (Lauren is wonderful and I hope she is a real human). My major issue with Reformation, however, is the company consistently misrepresents ship dates on items that are back ordered, and they take AT LEAST more than a month to ship beyond what is “expected”. I have had this happen twice and I am currently in the third occurrence of it, with an expected ship date that has been altered three times.
Since this has been such a regularity for me, company-wide I would have to assume based on probability it happens with other items and customers. This is an incredibly frustrating issue Reformation needs to solve for the price of the clothes we are committing to. I am ready to move my business elsewhere when I find similar offerings.
