Bit distorted
The frames are good and feel nice. However the lenses vision is not quite right. They are a bit distorted. Unfortunately it’s hard to find this out without using them properly ie after taking off the packaging. If you’re sensitive to variations don’t get these.

Poor aftercare service
Bought some rubber glasses in July 2023 which I was very happy with. Recently I discovered the frame cracked. Glasses are always kept in case and I have been very careful as they’re my only pair. I contacted The Reading Glasses Shop with photos. They just responded with “our returns policy is 28 days only”. I responded indicating the frame cracked so the item is faulty. No response. Think twice before purchasing. Shame as they’re lovely and comfortable glasses.

, So sorry I never replied to you straight away , I’ve been away for a few days , now regarding your broken in half glasses at the front of the frame ,Rowena they arrived in perfect condition to you over 4 months ago , I appreciate you don’t know how this has happened but I can assure you this hasn’t happened by itself , in all my years handling glasses I have never come across a pair of glasses in the box in that condition To offer a warranty longer than 28 days we would have to increase our price considerably over the £12.50 you paid

I'd previously ordered glasses from this company and was delighted with them so I decided to order two more pairs. Unfortunately they aren't the same with thinner frames and all together much flimsier. I liked the look of them so kept them but after only a few weeks, one pair have broken, very disappointing
