Did what they said they would. Got an independent professional to assess the amount we were offered and they said it was fair. You know you're paying for them to do all the leg work and as part of it... See more

No big sign posts

So a company may alert you to your wayleave and seek a percentage for doing so. If you were unaware of it then it's up to you if you go with it. There are company's that get your money and don't take a percentage both of the above get paid by the power company for bundling us all up I belive you can deal direct however not very forth comming. No matter which you go with the amount they pay is standard and can not be enhanced. Power line dispute this claim maintaining that they have on numerous occasions negotiated bigger settlements. Time to see the numbers first how many claims per annum second just how many enhanced claims then the percentage of that enhancement. I think they will fall silent.

Hi Mr Wray, we are sorry that you have not been entirely satisfied with the process of your wayleave agreement. We advertise our prices clearly on the website and, at 15% + VAT, we have one of the lowest commissions in the market. We also mention online to contact us with regards to any going offers as, on occasion, we are able to act without a commission charge for underground low voltage claims. You are correct to say that it is possible to go direct to the Network Operator, however, The Powerline Advisory Group are here to act for homeowners that would like to use the experience of an agent to oversee the claim. Many of the settlement rates are not Standard and are open to negotiation. On numerous occasions The Powerline Advisory Group have negotiated much higher settlements for homeowners than the amount that they achieved going directly.
