Product not accurately described, poor customer service
I purchased a raincoat in my usual size 8 and was so disappointed with it. I'm of average height. The sleeves were so short, at least 4 inches up from wrist area. This wasn't advertised as a petite raincoat but it most certainly is. What makes it worse is that when I called to discuss this the customer service was not helpful or willing to refund return costs. I need to return it and asked for a courtesy free return label as it just isn't what I expected. I wouldn't have purchased if description was accurate. I especially bought an Irish product to support home brands and as a family we have been loyal to Portwest. Never again!!

Sizing is completely off
Being that I'm at the top end of sizing I managed to size up by one size (as recommended by the sizing guide).
When the jacket arrived I could barely fit it over my shoulders, with no hope or dream of zipping it up or lifting my arms!
Since I'm purchasing OUTERWEAR I was naively thinking that I would be able to fit clothing underneath - not a snowballs chance...
Ladies be aware that if you're like me and in the top range of sizing - perhaps this range of jackets is not for you.
I've sent the jacket back.

Wonderful shop with excellent choices. They stock a very good range of sizes, as a plus size woman who loves to go on lots of mountain adventures I often struggle to get decent hiking gear in my size. Portwest Outdoor Shop has been such a blessing to find! I will definitely be a returning customer.

First time customer who discovered the brand by chance in Homeland in Mayo.
Gorgeous clothes. Ordered online, items were delivered really quickly and they even included a thank you card which was a really nice touch. The quality of the clothes is excellent, the prices very reasonable and it's great to see a home grown brand doing so well. Will definitely buy again.

My new go-to place!
I am happy to find one of the right places to shop in Ireland for outdoor wear. My go-to place in America was REI. I purchased three different pairs of Craghoppers pants, Airedale rain trouser, Kiwi pro trouser (love these and have 2 pair) and Aysgarth II Thermo Waterproof. Trousers. All are a perfect fit except for the thermo pants lining which restricts leg movement. Since the thermo pants were discounted they cannot be returned so, I will figure out a way to make them work. I purchased my first items at the Westport shop. Everyone there was very helpful! Portwest's online site was easy to navigate. It is a plus that the women's line includes a short size in pants. I am 5'1" and small frame. Thank you Portwest!
