I went in to the office and the two ladies were busy but a young man in a glass fronted office saw me and asked if he could help. He was brilliant. He opened a new ISA for me as my current one was about to expire so I couldn't deposit the 2026 allowance in it. He explained various options to make certain I was sure it was the right account for me. Fantastic service and he was very welcoming to an old dear like me.

We were able to speak to a person who was able to advise of the available accounts for our money and was able to open them and explain the methods of getting the funds in. She was also able to advise of the online facility to view all pass books, set up and explain how we should access the system once at home. The lady also fitted us in between other appointments with no notice after we wanted to move funds from another bank who had no staff capable of even rolling forward maturing funds. A lot of people prefer to deal with a person who knows what they are doing, not guess what to do on line, or in this case be told on line something which was wrong and so lost funds that were moved to the Nottingham B.S.
