Our experience with The Morritt Hotel & Garage Spa was extremely poor. We had booked a twin room which also included breakfast and an evening meal in the restaurant. The first room was freezing and had no heating, the second room had not been cleaned, the bed linen was dirty and the toilet disgusting. On each occasion I went back to reception to raise the issue the staff were very apologetic and resolved the issues. To top it all the restaurant I had booked the night before was closed, but to be fair we had an excellent meal in the cosy bar next to the fire. After a formal complaint to the manager, he apologised and gave me a full refund. Would try them again as the staff were excellent.
