The vet who attended had an epic journey across the county on public transport. We live in quite a remote spot, so she could have declined the call but chose to go the extra mile for us and our Germa... See more

I rang this company at 8pm in a bit of a state, after my beloved cat Annie had a seizure following a short illness. The lovely Chantal answered my call, and was really compassionate, kind and helpful. She arranged for Ovidiu, a vet, to call me not long after, as I needed support and advice regarding end of life for my cat. Ovidiu was equally kind and helpful, and let me take my time explaining Annie's history. After hearing all the facts, he felt, like me, that the kindest thing would be to let her go, and we arranged for him to visit the following day. Chantal contacted me again and helped me to arrange this, and the cremation afterwards. Ovidiu arrived promptly the next day, and made the whole process so much more bearable, as he treated Annie with genuine care, compassion and respect, so that Annie went over the rainbow bridge very calmly and peacefully whilst lying on my lap. He then took her to the crematorium, and her ashes were returned to me a few days later by post, with a lovely handwritten message from Sally. Chantal followed up with a very sweet and thoughtful supportive text . I don't know if I will have another cat one day as I have loved and lost too many, but if I do, and the time comes, I will always use The Kindest Goodbye.

When we knew that we would have to say goodbye to our beloved Golden Retriever, we were so glad that we chose The Kindest Goodbye to help us say that final farewell in the familiar surroundings of home. Everyone we came across, from the first phone call to the delivery of the ashes, was kind, sympathetic and helpful. Ovidiu, the vet who came, was so so kind; he explained the process carefully and made sure that we understood what to expect at every stage. We never felt rushed as we were given as much time as we needed to say our last goodbyes. Thank you for making a heartbreaking goodbye just a little bit easier.

This is a wonderful service, allowing a gentle end to the life of our 15 year old yorkipoo Dudley. Dr Theo Bredall was so compassionate, kind, caring & informative. He was happy to take things at our pace & what was of course a very sad situation was handled beautifully & with dignity. Many thanks Patricia & Alan Howarth

From my first enquiry Jenny couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. She organised a vet visit for me at a time and date that suited us. Theo, the vet who visited us, was kindness itself. He understood how we were feeling and gave us any time we needed. He explained exactly how the procedure would do and our dog's passing was gentle and peaceful. He ate chicken and just fell asleep. A perfect ending for our old friend. Thank you Jenny and Theo at Kindest Goodbye for making a difficult decision feel like the right one and for all your care and kindness.

⁸Kind, patient and compassionate handling of our initial, emotional enquiry.
Same afternoon response, with the vet attending at 3.15.
Vet Theo is a wonderful, compassionate, empathic person who did everything possible to make a heartbreaking situation bearable for a 93 year old lady to say goodbye to her much loved, old girl.
Thank you everyone

The hardest decision I’ve ever had to make and The Kindest Goodbye made it a memorable experience in the most profound way.
After being messed around by another company which was not only disgusting but down right disrespectful. I contacted The Kindest Goodbye who came out on the same day of contacting.
The vet was so incredibly kind and supportive. He was so respectful and brilliant with our old Staffie who hated going to the vets so it felt only right for her last moments to be at home where she felt safest surrounded by her family. He talked us through every step and it was totally at our pace.
They took care of everything. It was 9 days from when she left us to when she finally came home again, hand delivered by a lovely lady. As much as it is the toughest time I would 10000% recommend The Kindest Goodbye.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the team at The Kindest Goodbye and Kind Cremation for everything ❤️

In the moment of sadness and grief as our beloved Alfie was dying, the team at this organisation were beyond compassionate and caring; I could not recommend them more highly and I wish their love and sincerity could be offered to all pets. From the lovely lady who talked me through things on the phone to the caring Vet who attended and with great love, took my Alfie to his final resting place.
I would recommend the whole team

Theo came to our house to help our lovely dog find his place over the rainbow bridge. What an absolute credit to your business. I wish all vets had his soft genuine nature. He reassured us each step of the way and there was no rush at any stage. Thank you making this a peaceful at home goodbye.

A friend used this company and came highly recommended. We wanted our old lady Sasha to be at home when we said goodbye. From first contact they could not have been more helpful. At such a difficult time they made the process easy and were so thoughtful while talking to them. The vet Dovet was with us within 90 minutes. We weren’t rushed, and Dovet was so gentle with Sasha and empathetic. When he took her to the crematorium she travelled on his back seat and was made comfortable. This was the hardest decision to make but we knew it was right and the Kindest Goodbye company made it bearable.

I phoned The Kindest Goidbye Uk in desperation as our 11 year old Goldendoodle with Oral cancer seemed to go downhill very quickly during the evening. Tom was very helpful and within 15 minutes had found us a vet to come to us from an hour and a half away. She arrived at 1.15am and Carmen was so very kind from the moment she got to us until the moment she left after helping us say goodbye to our best friend. She explained everything, gave us time to prepare ourselves and then time after everything was over to grieve on our own with him. The whole experience which is the worse thing in the world to do was done with patience , kindness and in the comfort and safety of our own home. I would highly recommend them and it would be the only way we would do it again when the time sadly comes for our other dogs. Thank you all for your kindness and understanding, it meant so much.❤️

Super professional and caring team.
On such a hard time they were great.
At the most devastating time in my life, when having to make the excruciatingly painful decision to help my beloved pet out of pain, you need all the help you can get. The Kindest Goodbye UK were abolutely fantastic, the phone answered in a few rings with a calm voice on the other end asking questions that had to be asked but in such a way that didn't upset me. My phonecall was made on the day at approx 11am and a vet arrived at my home (from Bristol to Newport) at approx 4.14pm He was absolutely fantastic, full of empathy and understanding, also unhurried which I thought was commendable and obviously made me feel less agitated. Having my dog euthanaised at home was the best choice for both of us, at home, on her bed and peaceful. I would not hesitate to use this company again, first class.

A wonderful compassionate telephone call to arrange an appointment for the vet to come out. A fabulous , kind and empathetic vet , let us say goodbye in our own time . At such a sad time I can’t recommend this service highly enough. Thank you so much

From the very first phone call, I knew we had chosen the right company for our much loved Marley. The receptionist was very kind and caring through all my tears. She got the vet Dr Theo to call me to discuss options for our 16 year old Labrador. He was so compassionate and easy to talk to. When they called me to discuss day and time options, they told me Dr Theo was available to come out to us. I immediately said I wanted him to be the one. He arrived on time, was very calm and gave so much attention to both Marley and our younger Lab Lille. Lille warmed to him immediately and was playing ball with him whilst he checked Marley over. He was in absolutely no rush and gave us all the time we needed. Our children were able to spend time together with Marley and also individually. We did what we needed to do before finally, the children left and Gary and I stayed with Dr Theo and Marley. He suggested Lille stay with us too so she could understand the process. He was incredible during the hardest moments of our lives. He treated her with total respect and made such an awful situation a touch easier. We've since been in touch as we had some questions that were going round our heads and he spent a further 20 mins chatting through everything, putting our minds at ease and helping us process the guilt we are feeling. He has said that any other questions we have that we are welcome to call again. Thank you so much from the heartbroken family of Marley
