Absolute garbage organisation.

Absolute garbage organisation.
Could even call them a Scam company!
Strung no another along for months and then, after no contact at all, finally answered an email saying that they could not attend my Mothers house to do a review because they had fallen out with the company that did the required checks on the house. They do not have an alternative Company. That says a lot!
No alternative - that was it.
All my Mothers details were supplied to this rubbish company and nothing has come out of it.
Amateurish, unprofessional and a complete waste of time!

Hi Russ, can you please supply your mother's name so that we can investigate this matter. If you do not want to do this on Trustpilot, please use the email address that you have for us. Graham.

Poor phone experience.

I explained I have cognitive scarring and a personality disorder, I explained that I am aware that we have already been assessed as to recent government grants for solar panels and ground source heating and found that we quality, but that we are very sceptical about going with the company that assessed us. I explained our problem, that we just need to know if any grant system that covers solar panels would cover the cost of outbuilding installation, as we'd never get it on our main building due to planning, but rather than answer or understand, the gentleman kept on pushing for our full address, without any attempt to explain why it was needed for a simple query. I still don't understand, and am still stressed about what should have been a very simple query.

Edit due to response: As I explained at the time, I could give the EPC rating for the property, because I had one from the extremely recent full house survey. But didn't want that, you still couldn't continue without the address..... why not? Also, that was really irrelevant to my question. Would the grant cover installation in a separate building, not the main residence.

Second edit:
So apparently the answer was 'possibly yes.'.
Thank-you finally for a simple answer.

Hi Merryn,

I am sorry to see that you were not happy with our response. Obviously, we cannot say what we can do, based on what some other company says that they can do.

ECO4 is based on EPC ratings, so in order to answer your question I needed your address to view the EPC registered at your address. I could then check what improvements you could qualify for.

Without the EPC we were in the pitch dark.

Graham

Response to edit. The EPC rating is just a number. It does not tell us anything about the property which we need to know so that we can assess what can or can't be done. The size of the grant depends on how much we can improve the EPC rating (at least 2 bandings before funding kicks in at all). Putting solar panels on an outbuilding would obviously incur an extra cost, but we were not supplied the data required to find out if the grant would cover that extra cost.
