Blaithwaite Developments carried out £260,000 of work on our barn conversion:
The roof was condemned by Building Control and needs completely replacing.
A structural arch requires considerable remedial work to make safe.
Dangerous structural work in other areas required rebuilding.
Septic tank drainage field was incorrectly installed and needs replacing.
I can't recommend them.

We finally resolved issues we had with our property having employed other tradesmen not Blaithwaite developments to complete remedial works. We would not allow Blaithwaite developments on our property to resolve their work as we had no confidence in their capability. We would not recommend this builder

Contacted this builder to request a quote for building work.
I accepted the quote.
Work commenced, no sign of continued presence of builder on site as I agreed, he ‘popped’ in occasionally for a.few minutes, then left two workers to carry out work.
Machinery used was far too big and heavy, I requested smaller machines, which were ‘promised’ but were not provided.
I paid for work done, but received further demands for more money.
The builder came to my property demanding with aggression more money. I contacted police re. his aggression.
I continue to receive emails demanding more money. I have paid for the work agreed and completed so far. I will contact the police again should he appear at my front door again. I am 74 years old.
