Matt Fay, EPC Man for Manchester area was brilliant. Good communication, prompt, fast and a nice guy to work with. If you want an EPC done in a professional way, you can’t go wrong using Matt. First class experience. Ours was for a commercial premises, and he does residential also.

I used the provider in Stafford... The claim "Order your epc direct from your local provider to ensure our lowest price" is misleading. A local provider isn't necessarily cheaper. There are much cheaper providers of high quality service (e.g. Openrent), so please shop around... And when it says "prices from £45" make sure to ask how much they will charge for your particular property before agreeing to the work because they will not ask you and depending on your property you could receive a bill 3 or 4 times that figure after the job. If they will not tell clients the fee for the EPC when they are engaged, they could at least have more transparent pricing information on their website that makes clear the incremental fee based on number of bedrooms. Many providers charge a flat fee irrespective of number of rooms. Thankfully won't need this for another 10 years but I won't be using them again.

Found the company online and both Natalie and Olly provided a very professional service.
Olly was prompt for the appointment and explained everything he was doing in a polite and friendly manner.
Payment was straightforward and the EPC certificate was received within 48hrs.
Would definitely recommend them!

Don’t expect an accurate EPC for your property - Paul just assumed building regs insulation for the property despite extensive architectural and contractors drawings showing far higher levels of insulation.
Cheap but useless “assessment”.

Having previously used Matt, I had no hesitation in contacting him again. On this occasion Olly completed an EPC for me on a different property in Stockport and as with Matt previously, Olly has provided an excellent service with great communication throughout the process.
