We have used Big Deal to go to a new…

We have used Big Deal to go to a new supplier - EDF to Utility Point - our current company is unable to release us and give us a repayment of our credit until the new company has our meter readings. We have contacted Big Deal and Utility Point about this and so far no one has contacted us.

Utility Point have taken a direct debit already.

Big Deal have not responded to my emails with a resolution.

Where do we go from here - submit a Complaint already?

The Suns Big Deal energy switch.

This company is a waste of time give you a price based on your readings then at the end of the year when you leave to go to another big deal company in their case from green star to edl you get hit with a bill for nearly £300 when they tell you you exceeded your allowance, so when you think you are on a fixed rate you are not it’s a con.

I haven't come across an "allowance" before and certainly not a bill for exceeding one. Is this with Look After My Bills? I would be happy to look into the case and to determine exactly what this allowance is.

Moving house and switching energy providers

I am in the process of moving house and switching from the incumbent provider, British Gas, for both electricity and gas. I have looked already at other switching/comparison websites, such as uSwitch, and I really can't understand why the Big Deal prices they have "negotiated" through collective switching are not significantly better than the prices I could obtain through other switching sites. As far as I can see, it makes little difference whether I switch using uSwitch or The Big Deal. Both do all the work for me and save the same amount compared to my incumbent provider.

I think that this company is performing excellently

I think that this company is performing an essential role in a world that is both dominated by excessive corporate power and full of opportunity -- the opportunity for people to come together collectively to resist that power in the search for a better deal. Easy & simple

My dad put me on to The Big Deal he had read about it in the paper. With only I few days before my existing contract was up I gave my details to him to sign me up as I was at work.
Received a email saying the big deal had found me a deal which was considerably lower than what I was paying so accepted straight away. I just sent my metre readings when asked and that was that so straight forward and simple. This year when the deal was due to end the big deal sent me an email reminding me that the deal was coming to an end and that they had found me a new one that was even cheaper!! So again just had to send metre readings and the swop was done for me and even received £192 credit from the old supplier.
Cannot recommend The Big Deal enough. Great service keep it up.

Impressed with my broadband saving!

After shopping around for a better broadband package I looked at the suggestions from The Big Deal and changed provider using one of their deals. Really happy with the resulting savings. Would happily recommend to anyone.

The big deal have saved me huge amounts …

The big deal have saved me huge amounts and made every switch incredibly straightforward. I've switched once for savings (energy) and once for quality (broadband - double speed for same price we were paying). Each time it was so simple and clear every step of the way. I couldn't recommend 'The Big Deal' highly enough.

Phone not working after 6 days installed 1 week wait to get it fixed

The broadband & fone line was put in a week ago and yesterday the fone stopped working, after an hour on the mobil to Talk Talk to get it sorted I now have to wait a week for an engineer to come out to resolve the lack of service. I am now regretting doing this change of provider. The customer service of Talk Talk is very poor , talking to someone whose first language is Indian and their English is very poor is not helpful. And then they have the cheek to send me a bill !!!!! I asked them to reflect the lack of service in the bill you would have thought I was talking to an alien for all the help I have been given.

Saving money with the Big Deal.

We have been with the Big Deal since it started and in that time we have saved a little over £700 on our energy bills so when the offer on broadband came we signed up with no hesitation and expect we will save on this deal also,I recommend joining the Big Deal and start saving like we did..Thanks guys..

3rd successful AND cheaper switch through Big Deal

Previously we were £25.95 with Talk Talk.
Now we're £19.95 with Talk Talk thru the Big Deal.
Very happy to be saving £60 per year and getting a better deal on calls.
Switching was very easy - just a few clicks and fields to complete.
Before broadband we'd successfully switched twice to green energy companies through other Big Deals . Greener and LESS expensive than our previous Big 6 supplier - you provide a great service

I used the Big Deal to move to new …broadband

I used the Big Deal to move to new broadband. They couldn't have made the process simpler, even including a link to the new supplier. They have saved me a lot of money and I've got better connected broadband as a result.
I am aware that the Big Deal monitor the market to get the best deals on everything from gas and electricity to broadband. Sign up to the Big Deal today and save yourself money to spend on better things than electricity!

The changeover from Plusnet to TalkTalk …

The changeover from Plusnet to TalkTalk was seemless and very efficient. No interuption to internet or phone services at all. Customer service was excellent when I phoned to order the free sim which arrived very quickly. This is a very good deal and at almost half the cost I was paying before. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Broadband Deal

I signed up to the broadband deal with Talk Talk for fast, unlimited internet and unlimited calls to mobile or landline plus free line rental and set-up all for £25pm.

I have to say this is a superb offer from 'The Big Deal'. It contains everything I could want in a broadband package, it's effortless to arrange and install and my 'Go Live' date arrived in no time. I'm currently enjoying super fast internet for a remarkably low price, all fixed for eighteen months.

Overall I would strongly recommend 'The Big Deal' as a company, they have delivered a great package exactly as promised in very short order. I will certainly avail myself of further offers in the future from this excellent company. Thanks guys.

switched energy supplier without a hitch

I took advantage of the big deal to switch gas and electric supplier. I had been with Scottish Power and had just exited their one year fixed rate contract, the deal arranged with Octopus Energy was far better than any alternative offered by Scottish Power and was also amongst the more competitive offerings I could find elsewhere by using comparison websites. I contracted the 1 year fixed price with Octopus, the switch over went perfectly well. Octopus website is very good and easy to use, I can clearly see my energy usage and costs. Much much better than Scottish Power who could not get their act together and were chasing me for extra payments months after terminating contract, with very unclear charges. Very pleased with the changeover and the service.

People would be silly not to switch

Since the first big deal was issued I had to join having read quite a bit about collective bargaining to me it is the way forward
When you realise the big suppliers are coining it by setting out ridiculously complicated tariffs which it's more than likely there own telesales staff understand the simple answer join the big deal
Personally we in our house were 300 pounds better off and that was after me going on comparison sites who take their cut !
Since I have been with the big deal I have a new condensing boiler which replaced the original combi so combine that with an even better big deal this time and my bills amaze me they are now so low
Hopefully it will go from strength to strength
