Love buying candles and diffusers - they all smell so nice and the diffusers last a long time. Well worth the money and would make great presents any time of year. I always struggle to decide which ones to buy as I love them all !!

I live quite local to the company and as Royal Mail are not very reliable at the moment the gentleman offered to deliver personally to my door.

I ordered my candle/defuser on line and picked them up from John today at his stall at a craft faire and ended up buying some more, he is such a lovely person very helpful and makes you feel very welcome. The candle’s etc are lovely and there is a good range of different smells. I definitely will be buying some more.

I’ve waited till I’ve burned this candle for a good few hours to give an honest review. It burns beautifully and the scent throw is now very good. It fills a room in just a short time. Really good value too!

What a great shopping experience. I found The Ampthill Alchemist by chance through a magazine article and as it is local to my sister decided to buy her something for her birthday. Rather than keep swapping emails John telephoned and we chatted over all his products at length. The gift was in a box with a black ribbon and hand written birthday message and was personally delivered locally by John. My sister (and both her daughters who were there) loved the fragrances - Natural Harmony candle, Heavenly Aromatic candle, and Sanctum diffuser. We will all be coming back for more!
