Like Amazon, Temu is processing products from remote suppliers. The service it provides has in my experience always been of a very high standard, but the products not always so much. They are sourced in China (as are many on Amazon), where a business approach that lacks integrity seems to be acceptable, and while the product that you receive is often excellent value for money, sometimes it’s substantially inferior to it’s portrayal on the website. I have comfortable, well designed, well made and robust day-to-day casual footwear for instance that would cost double or even treble for something similar elsewhere. I also have items of clothing that had to go straight to landfill. However, Temu does respond fairly and efficiently to justified complaints and overall the good outweighs the bad.

Do not EVER buy expensive electronics from Temu! I purchased what was supposed to be a brand new iPhone 17. When it arrived, I set up my camera and lighting to film an unboxing video for my TikTok. Imagine my absolute horror when I broke the factory seals on camera, lifted the lid, and found a literal pile of uncooked grocery store rice instead of a smartphone!
You would think that having undeniable, uncut video evidence of this blatant mail fraud would make getting a refund easy. Absolutely not.
Temu’s robotic customer service is a complete joke. First, they told me that to get my money back, I had to print a return label, box up the uncooked rice, and mail it back to their warehouse. When I refused to waste my time and gas returning garbage from their compromised supply chain, they had the absolute nerve to email me saying they reviewed the order and it was "packed and shipped in alignment with the specifications." They are literally trying to claim a pile of rice meets the specs of an iPhone 17.
I am now having to escalate this to my bank for a fraud chargeback, issue a formal Letter Before Action under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and report them to Action Fraud and Trading Standards.
Save yourself the massive headache and lost money. Their supply chain is clearly compromised by thieves, and their customer service will do everything to avoid taking responsibility. Avoid this company at all costs!

On April 20th 2026 I opened a return request for my temu items totaling $91.95!!! I immediatly returned the items and on May 1st 2026 I got a message from these rats stating that the refund was denied because the items were not received by them! I returned all 12 items and it wasn't recieved?? That is a lie I became suspicious so I began to do research and i came across multiple people that the same thing has happened to where temu will lose the person's package or claim they never received the return as a way to defraud the customer !!!
If im not refunded by the end of this week I will be contacting my bank and reporting temu for fraud and have them reverse the transaction. I have a return receipt that I recieved from the post office also! And proof this is being done to others so that will be enough eveidence for my bank to do the chargeback!

I am very happy with Temu I've been shopping with them for quite some time. I have rarely had any problems with the quality of their products, and when I did they made returning the item simple and receiving a refund fast.

How out of the £36 I paid for 2 items I received approximately £7. I was angry, frustrated that the agent lied to me saying that I would receive a refund of £22.83. He knew that Temu only gives refunds for a product that you paid the cheapest, and he processed this by lying to me that I would receive everything. Don't trust them they don't accept credit balance because you have to buy other things just as bad, and when you hear that they give you a full refund don't believe them they lie to you.
I must add that the material of the jacket length jeans does not look like in foto the navy blue photo,it looks like someone bought the productand returned back because both pockets are torn, I took a photo in front of the custom service, I had just received the package. Honestly, I decided I will never buy Temu again, I bought almost £400 in a year, I received a refund last year 2025 , believe me £1,75 in Klarna, they were not returned full refound they should have sent 35, then Klarna much more than .
You know the photos are perfect in advertising, the clothes are inviting with quality materials, you are very happy then you receive crumbs that do not correspond to what you saw but are also torn.
An update read carefully what Temu writes, he is not interested in broken or damaged products because it is the customer's business, the customer receives the products via royal mail in Evri and in the UK.

They will not understand an error by then just respond with A1 or a person who does not understand plain English as the name used are European and the writer (if not AI) is not. They quote reasons that would not stand up in a UK or European court. Iwill now for the second time be taking court action against a Chinese company as they may appear to offer good deals but if it goes wrong you have had it. AVOID EVEN IF IT APPEARS A GOOD DEAL.

This experience with Temu has been terrible. I ordered an item with an excepted 2-4 days ago delivery. After 6 days of no tracking updates I contacted customer support for help, just to receive an automated message telling me to wait. On day 7 I contacted again requesting a refund or replacement as my package was believed to have been lost it transit to me, however I again recieved template messages delaying the process. The package was then eventually marked as “returned to sender” (Temu) which was good news to hear it was not lost. In light of this, I expected to be refund or for my package to be resent but I was again turned away and told to wait days extra for “updates whilst the team looks into things”. It’s been nearly 2 weeks now without my delivery and my money. I expected much better from Temu as I’d heard good things prior, but they have failed to impress me, and failed to abide my trading standards.

Used a coupon on 2 orders. One arrived wrong (games in the wrong language). If I return only that, I lose the coupon. To keep the coupon, I’d have to return everything, including an item I liked that was opened and sold out. Unsealed returns may be reduced or refused. So I’m stuck losing money either way. Support didn’t help.

I ordered 3 packs of 10 lithium batteries and only 2 turned up Temu would not make a credit and made it difficult to verify by saying they had checked with the warehouse instantly and 3 were packed.
This is a sales platform not a supplier so expect variable service and generally poor customer service if you buy from them. It is definitely not Amazon.

I returned a package to Temu and this has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had.
Tracking number TS090800777RS clearly shows that the return was delivered on April 4, 2026 (confirmed by Serbia Post). Despite this, Temu support keeps asking me to resend the same proof over and over again.
I have provided the tracking number and screenshots multiple times over the past month. Instead of resolving the issue, they keep repeating the same automated responses and even closed my ticket without a solution.
I paid using Temu credit (around 6000 RSD), and they are refusing to issue a refund despite confirmed delivery of the returned package.
This feels like intentional delay and avoidance of responsibility. I expect a proper resolution and refund immediately.

They overly annoy you constantly with your gifts. However this is just a ploy so you will buy things. To get to your gift you have to buy a certain amount of stock to get them. They're really good in doing that and to be fair.. the quality of some items are hit and miss.
They also make an item look really big on the picture but when it arrives it's nothing like the size you wanted.
I don't even know if their return policies even work.. they'll just get you to buy more.
Sloppy clumsy service.. not being truthful with the items they post.

I had a very disappointing experience with the Temu app. I downloaded it and was offered a “spin the wheel” promotion where I supposedly won 5 gifts worth nearly $2000. I selected all 5 gifts as instructed.
After that, I was told I needed to make a purchase of around $30 to receive those gifts. I completed the purchase, expecting my rewards. However, I have still not received any of the promised items.
What’s even more frustrating is that later an “event” appeared, which was never clearly mentioned before. It feels misleading and unfair to customers. If you advertise winning gifts, you should deliver them without adding hidden conditions afterward.
Very disappointed with this experience. I would not recommend this promotion to others.
