The get items for 1penny is just such a scam. You have to buy so much it would actually be cheaper to buy the items. Also the so called free hauls thats a scam too. I've deleted this app.

Temu is a very big scam company. It promises you free gifts. PayPal withdrawals. And cash back.
All of the above are scams. O am so stupid I keep ordering from them and keep falling for the underhanded tactics to force me or to that matter any idiot that might fall for their tactics. It says purchase Minimum $40 to get the free 4 - 7 free gifts. And a surprise one as well. You submit your payment only to receive what you have ordered fir the full price. Even for more than is advertised.
Notice well when you see price advertised and the price you end being charged.
I am stupid. And I should stop using Temu. I currently was ducked into 2 transactions. $31...and $41.. I was supposed to get PayPal withdrawal of $150 originally but then you get the catch. The wheel.
Government should protect consumers from this company. But where are they.
I will be referring this matter and similar ones to the relevant body in order to stop and prevent other idiots like myself to part with their money to purchase cheap Chinese products .

They mentioned the return policy. NOT the wheel scam and their tactics of forcing you to spend waiting or expecting the free gifts or PayPal cash.
I did NOT argue with or against the return policy. That was not the pivotal or even any part of my review .
Scamming money was my review not refund policy.
Hence Temu avoided the real issue which was the scamming wheel and PayPal cash withdrawal.

I had a very disappointing experience with Temu.
I ordered a garden shed, but the item I received was not as described — the colors and panel quantities were completely incorrect compared to the listing.
I provided clear photo evidence and spent over two weeks trying to resolve the issue both with the seller and Temu support. Unfortunately, I kept receiving the same response referring to a 6-month guarantee or a 90-day return policy, without properly addressing the fact that the product itself was incorrect.
At no point was a meaningful resolution or compromise offered.
Under UK consumer law (Consumer Rights Act 2015), products must match their description, which clearly did not happen in this case.
This experience has been frustrating and time-consuming, and the lack of proper support or accountability is very concerning.

I am exposing the lack of ethics at Temu. After a technical failure, agent Marina Sáez formally authorized a $150 credit as compensation (Ticket 1777593832059866). Now, a supervisor named Richard Parker is refusing to honor it, trying to force a $400 purchase instead. This is a clear case of misleading advertising and a breach of trust. I have all the screenshots as evidence. I will continue escalating this globally until the $150 is credited to my account as originally promised.

i ordered a computer unit cost me 65 pounds first time buyer was missing 1x70cm metal tubing bar also missing 2x90 cm bars they did give me a 19.00 refund and i thought well i could fix it maybe cheaper but been on all the sites ebay,screw fix gonna cost me over 40.00 pounds and then they say on ai give me a 20 per cent discount on my next order.so now i have a computer desk that can,t be put up totally disgusted can,t even talk to someone to explain the issues and they want to send me a returns label but i am 65 years old the package must weigh at least 20 kilos and i have dumped the packaging i will never use again

I had a very disappointing experience with Temu. Shipping delays are excessive — my order took more than 15 to 17 days to arrive.
The return and refund process is even worse. After returning the items, it takes another 10 to 15 days just to receive the refund. This is unfair. Refunds should be processed as soon as the return is initiated, not after such long delays. Customers should not have to wait this long for their money.
The product quality was also very poor. I ordered safety shoes, but they were not safe at all and did not meet any real safety standards. I also received tools that were rusty and in bad condition. I returned these items, and I am still waiting for my refund.
I strongly hope Temu reviews and improves its policies, especially regarding shipping times, product quality, and refund processing.
Overall, I am very dissatisfied and will not order from Temu again.

They send me ads telling me I'm a trusted customer and offer a few "free" gifts as a thank you when you order. I never get anything free for one, then when you go to order they list one price to get you to order but they charge you a higher price. I will never order from them again. No info on my order until it arrived - won’t provide me with a prepaid label or any help to successfully send it back. Clearly works in their favour.
I have tried to find it using their temu website and self service options and all of them failed, as if the order never existed yet the money successfully been taken out of my bank.
I got in touch with them throughout the whole of April and been messaging back and forth with no solution from their side whatsoever. Will be taking it further.

Like Amazon, Temu is processing products from remote suppliers. The service it provides has in my experience always been of a very high standard, but the products not always so much. They are sourced in China (as are many on Amazon), where a business approach that lacks integrity seems to be acceptable, and while the product that you receive is often excellent value for money, sometimes it’s substantially inferior to it’s portrayal on the website. I have comfortable, well designed, well made and robust day-to-day casual footwear for instance that would cost double or even treble for something similar elsewhere. I also have items of clothing that had to go straight to landfill. However, Temu does respond fairly and efficiently to justified complaints and overall the good outweighs the bad.

Do not EVER buy expensive electronics from Temu! I purchased what was supposed to be a brand new iPhone 17. When it arrived, I set up my camera and lighting to film an unboxing video for my TikTok. Imagine my absolute horror when I broke the factory seals on camera, lifted the lid, and found a literal pile of uncooked grocery store rice instead of a smartphone!
You would think that having undeniable, uncut video evidence of this blatant mail fraud would make getting a refund easy. Absolutely not.
Temu’s robotic customer service is a complete joke. First, they told me that to get my money back, I had to print a return label, box up the uncooked rice, and mail it back to their warehouse. When I refused to waste my time and gas returning garbage from their compromised supply chain, they had the absolute nerve to email me saying they reviewed the order and it was "packed and shipped in alignment with the specifications." They are literally trying to claim a pile of rice meets the specs of an iPhone 17.
I am now having to escalate this to my bank for a fraud chargeback, issue a formal Letter Before Action under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and report them to Action Fraud and Trading Standards.
Save yourself the massive headache and lost money. Their supply chain is clearly compromised by thieves, and their customer service will do everything to avoid taking responsibility. Avoid this company at all costs!
