An older person DOES NOT NEED 1gb/s internet speeds... Contacted them about canceling or downgrading to the cheapest - slowest plan for an already expired contract .
Guess what - they literally upgraded the contract to be 2gb/s instead as it is more efficient in speed/price.
A close relative - a son or a grandson CANNOT do anything about this as per their policies.
They need to be taken down seriously..
Waist of money and time .Activating EŽYS was a complete…
Activating EŽYS was a complete nightmare. Logging in was almost impossible and I wasted over one hour just trying to access the system. I was forced to find a Lithuanian phone number just to continue the activation, which is ridiculous for a prepaid eSIM. After entering the PUK code, instead of activating the service, the system just showed “Sorry, something went wrong.” No explanation, no fix and no real support. This is one of the worst onboarding experiences I’ve ever had with a mobile operator
They told me that all my services are…
They told me that all my services are over and that I do not have anything else to pay for, then two months later I get a debt and need to pay them for service I have not used at all. Custumer service basically told me theres nothing they can do and I must just pay the debt. They really love your money :)
No decent options to pay for Telia services
In 2025 Telia LT still cannot provide payment methods for their services other than 6 Lithuanian banks. That's ridiculous. No options to pay by credit/debit cards. Common Telia, we are in 2025. Wake up!!!
Worst e-shop ever
Worst reviews about their e-shop. Preordered an Iphone on the first day of the preorders. The description mentioned, that it will be delivered from 1-3 work days from the release date. The days have passed and when I have texted them, they told me that they don't even have the phone and informed me that I will get the phone in 2-3 weeks. I can't think of any shops (or even telia's scale big) that could do that big misinformation. Why would you even open preorders if you don't even do them and give max false info to your customers. Don't recommend them at all.
Lies. 4g internet instead of 5g. Loss of data packets
They tell tales, of their perfect solution as 5G coverage. Don't believe it. It's all lies. Ping at the most you will have 30 ms. At normal internet speeds, there's constant packet loss. I use Linux and I see how easy it is to lose packets when building programmes. It's horrible. Never contact them. Weather is bad - no internet at all. You have to reboot your modem 3 times a day. I 100 times regretted contacting them. I'm switching to Starlink.
Absolutely disgraceful company
Absolutely disgraceful company, which lies about its nationwide coverage and internet speeds. For years it cannot provide any way to strengthen internet in popular areas and just uses excuses that they're overcrowded, as if that hasn't been the case for 10 years. Even if they do try to provide help, like installing personal home internet strengthening antennas, they still manage to fall short, often because of their own incompetence. Disgraceful.
The most terrible experience ever!
The most terrible experience ever!
I left the country and didn’t need their services anymore, but my contract was still valid until May 2025. A Telia representative called me and told me that, since the contract ends in May, they would contact me to ask whether I want to extend it or not. They also said I could call them at the beginning of the month to terminate it.
So I waited until May and paid all the bills, even though I didn’t use the number. Then I sent them a termination letter, and guess what? They told me my contract is valid until May 2026. That means they extended it without my permission. And now they’re demanding €72 just to terminate it.
This is manipulative and dishonest. Never use their services.
Awful company
Awful company. The chat operators do not know what they are doing. Never again.
Trying to move internet to a different…
Trying to move internet to a different address where was same Telia internet before. Talked with Telia multiple times, asked why there is a need for engineer to come twice, for disconnect and once again for connecting internet, consultant explained that I do not need to know that in detail but this is how it works (just pay twice for a visit). Now suddenly disconnection happens remotely but to turn on internet remotely is impossible even if their engineers say differently, and consultant can’t explain why physical visit is needed except that this is the way it works. Either some training to consultants needed to not frustrate clients or changing processes otherwise it sounds ridiculous that in 21st century it is still impossible to switch internet between addresses without a break in using cause of tight engineers’ schedules
An honest review
An honest review - we use Telia 10+years, before it was quite okay. But now, Telia’s wifi has a REALLY BAD CONNECTION. Ans when I mean really bad - every single day we are having troubles with Telia wifi. And everyday it’s the same - you call them, you inform that there is no internet in the whole household, they tell you they will contact you later, later they contact with you and tell you - no sir, I see in the system, that your internet is perfect. But in reality - there is no internet connection. Also, they have long-term problem solving ways - they recommend that you buy a more expensive plan, you get new stuff and the result - more expensive plan does not work. We still don’t have internet. And we already bought new one. They will tell you the same thing - TELIA DON’T SET THE CONNECTION STABILITY, THEY HAVEN’T WRITTEN ANYTHING IN YOUR CONTRACT ABOUT THE FASTINESS OF YOUR INTERNET. And thats why they don’t have to make sure you get fast internet - it’s not required and even mentioned in the cotract.
Ten out of 10
Awful Home Internet
dog_shit internet, have been using Telia for around 2 years, and the connection has been god awful, as soon as someone decides to do anything intensive with the internet, the connection shi_ts itself, and it literally feels like we're getting DDOSed. Telia's internet is complete ass in smaller towns and villages like Plungė. Customer service is also dog_shit, ran by dumbasses, they almost scammed my mum, when she was complaining about the internet, so they decided to send us a "better" router, which was one of those portable sim card hotspot things to replace our HOME INTERNET! Complete dog_shit wouldn't reccomend to anyone.
Transfering to Telia was a nightmare
I came to Telia office to transfer my number from Labas. Employees were very friendly. During the applying for Telia services and transfering from Labas to Telia an employee did a typo in my surname.
You may think that's a simple mistake but it's not. The only thing they should do is to double check a client private data.
So, the next day I was unable to transfer my number and went to a Telia office again. They did the same thing but it did'nt work. I was tired to go again so I instead called. A man from Telia finally understood my issue and fix a typo in Telia system. And asked me to go to Labas account and transfer my number. But I had to get a new sim-card. He told me a courier will deliver it to me. I asked him if I should pay for it again, he confirmed it should be free because of company mistake. I got my sim card but I had to pay to courier for a sim card 3 euro AGAIN. For what? For Telia mistake? And I again got a contract and had to sign it. I mean how does that compay actually work? They can't track a client issue? No communication between employees? Worst experience.
I had an awful experience
I had an awful experience. Never use this provider.
Best mobile and internet service provider in Lithuania
I use Telia for more than 10 years for both mobile service and home internet. I have moved one of my numbers to Tele2 recently to check their service and had to move it back, because the mobile internet was slower and didn't have good coverage in rural areas.
During the decade I spent with them there were some issues, but they are usually easy to resolve with support.
Super expensive ( In UK internet cost…
Super expensive ( In UK internet cost half the price ) and super slow internet ( they claim is 1GB ) ! you will not get even half !
Always will say that is due to wifi , but I have test cable too .
Absolutely scam !
Used services for couple days
Used services for couple days, they kept sending bills for two months.
Company doesn't care about you
Company sells you stuff, but then they don't care if what they sell is working or not. No assistance, even if the device stops working after a few days.
I will change the mobile company as soon as I have my money back!
