NO WARRANTY DANGEROUS SCOOTER

Bought 2 techtron elite 3500 e scooters in June. Only riden twice abroad and both are broken. My mum was riding one and her brake cable snapped when on a busy road and was extremely dangerous and could have caused a serious accident and a couple of days later the throttle on mine broke in pieces and and doesn't work at all. We thought that they were a bit flimsy when we got them but as we were only using abroad and looked after them it would be OK. As they were only 2 months old when they broke I didn't worry as I knew they had a warranty so when I got home I tried for a week to contact them but it was extremely difficult. I sent off all pictures of damage and when they responded they told me that I had to pay for everything. If I wanted to fix myself I would have to pay for the parts and postage and if I wanted them to repair then I would have to pay for the return and parts and labour. I was disgusted. I only wanted them repaired and even if they had sent me the parts for free I would have accepted this but not at my cost when they are supposed to be under warranty. So the warranty is completely worthless as are my scooters. I have now had to contact trading standards and my bank to try and get reimbursement that I never wanted. Absolutely shocking company that don't want to help when something goes wrong

Avoid Techtron/multibrand

Paid for next day delivery, waited three days for it to be delivered. Scooter then developed an error code after three days of mild use. Had to send two videos, photos, back and forth emailing.
They now expect me to pay £25 delivery charge to return a faulty product before I can get a refund. That’s over £50 I’ll have paid in delivery charges for a scooter that is useless.
Where’s the guarantee I even get a refund? I definitey do not want a replacement if I have to pay £25 to return every time something goes wrong with the scooter.
Avoid this company!! Not professional at all! I have taken the issue up with PayPal.
I have a very disappointed son with no scooter.

Not trust worthy people,

Not trust worthy people,
I order an escooter & paid £25 for next day delivery on Thursday. Monday still hadn't been sent. Called & spoke to customer service who appologised & advised parcel force is having issues and cant do the delivery for 3/4days. Seemed very odd for an international delivery company so i called & spoke to parcel force that confirmed Techtron hadn't paid their bill so parcel force is refusing to pick up their packages. Now I wouldn't have cared if techtron used their initiative and got it sent out with another courier but instead they filled me full of lies. Very disappointing as I bought the scooter in the sale & was really looking forward to receiving it. Now I will have to wait until techtron pay their bill so parcel force will deal wirh them...

Customer service is non existent

I went to their website for general enquiry, they call themselves Multibrand not techtron which was a bit confusing.Their email service does not work. Nobody answers any calls. Imagine the nightmare of trying to get replacement parts for your scooter. Luckily I haven't purchased anything from them. The only response I got from them is here after putting a review on trust pilot.

Great power output

Great power output, good charging time, great feel and looks good.

Only complaint is the ride isn’t the best. A lot of bumpy ness fresh out the box

that company charges you 25 pounds but does not send you the product only when it feels like it does not answer the emails it does not matter to you

Extremely dangerous product!!!!

Extremely dangerous product!!!!

Took delivery of this scooter and placed it in my hallway, the same night at around 3:am my fire alarms activated, house filled with smoke and discovered it was coming from the unopened box containing the scooter. It was making hissing and popping noises, I immediately put the box outside in the rain.
When I contacted the company (which was extremely difficult) all they were concerned about is if I had taken a video of the incident, not if me and my family were ok or any damage caused- had to explain that my priority was keeping my children safe not taking videos of something on fire!
At their request I opened the box and inside was black from fire damage, it was obvious that the battery had somehow exploded?..
Trying to rerun the faulty item has been frustrating, parcelforce refused to take it in the condition it’s in, now they’re sending a returns label and want me to take it to the post office who I’m sure will also refuse to take it due to its condition and the awful burnt smell..
We had a very lucky escape, thank god my fire alarms work or who knows what could have happened.
No refund as yet.
I have 2 other scooters purchased from Halfords that I’ve had no problems with, think in future I would re purchase from them and never from Techtron again.

Please be very cautious when purchasing this item!

100% worth it

I first ordered 2 Pro 3500 for kids, admittedly I didn't think I would receive them buy I did abd quicker than expected ! Now bought 3 of the elite 3500 for myself partner and Xmas present. Have recommended to everyone looking to buy a scooter.

It is a good scooter for the price.

It is a good scooter for the price.
Lack of front suspension is a small problem.but the 10 inch tyres are helping a lot.

Hope if it had little more power to climb steep hills.

But its very good for the price
