A Nightmare if you are an American Working Abroad

They say that you can port your old skype void online number to ms teams but it's not possible if you have a macbook pro or an iphone. They say that you can make calls internationally and that Teams Microsoft can be used in Mexico. However if you are an American citizen doing business in Mexico it does not allow you to upload 2 cards for payment, one from a Mexican bank account and another from an American account. You must have a cell phone and your cell phone must be the same as your card. Well, I have been using an american skype online void number for years for my tourist online business and do not have an american cell phone (because I was using skype and trying to save money and steam line my business). So I have just a mexican cell phone and now I cannot upload my American bank card! Their mexican chat box nor phone number customer support works. Their tech support doesn't work in english either. So they basically cannot work with American businesses working abroad. What adds insult to injury, is they make you get a microsoft authenticator app to use to get into your admin, portal and MS teams and then once installed, it interfer with all my logins on other business platforms! So now over 20 platforms no longer recognize my email to log in. Also all ms portals urls are constantly forcing me to log even after I have successfully logged in for help, and the help is NOT live. It's commnunity forums and it's tech help thru email only. This issue has gone on for 2 weeks and still I cannot make international calls. They need to extend the use of skype for 3 more months instead of expiring it in May. They don't have the staff to help those of us who are dependent on void online international calls. I have a microsoft 365 for personal use but ms teams is a NIGHTMARE!!!

Perish Thouself

Oh, wretched spawn of digital malevolence, Microsoft Teams, thou art a festering blight upon the realm of productivity! A sluggish, ill-begotten cesspit of inefficiency, where messages vanish like whispers in the wind, and calls fail with the consistency of a drunkard’s oath! Verily, I doth loathe thee with the fiery wrath of a thousand suns, thou cumbersome, lag-ridden abomination! A pox upon thy bloated code, and may thine existence be cursed unto eternity, foul, forsaken plague!!!!!?!!++one!!!111!!1?!!+exclamationpoint!!+

Newly installed Teams prevented Whatsapp from opening

Teams came up instead of Whatsapp on my pc. It was an important call and I missed it. I just installed Teams the day before and I really wish I had not. You would think that the engineers who designed this would not make rookie mistakes like this. They are actually paid too well to make these mistakes. I can accept if an app does not work correctly but for it to interfere with other applications is just disappointing and sad. I will be careful in future not to download Microsoft products unless it is necessary. This was a mistake like their engineers.

if i could give negative stars i would

if i could give negative stars i would, its clunky, bulky and pointlessly slow, i use skype, only reason i am using this crap is because they are cheaping out and doing away with it, skype works, quick, fast, agile, the only reason its so agonizingly slow is all the extra stuff i don't need, i don't need a calendar, my computer already has one, i don't need an activity list, again, my system already has one, i don't need a community, i can add the people i want to talk to, i need to make long calls, thats it, so i will use it for now, but, the second a new option becomes available i will be throwing this where it belongs, the trash

There are quite straightforward problems everyone knows about that they don't fix for three years in a row, while spending time releasing UI uplifts.

Very annoying to work with

Very annoying to work with. Forceful notifications that only go away if one clicks on the chat. Not every notification requires a response. Teams tries to force people to interact, switches one on absent just because one doesn't use it all the time. It was good at the beginning but since the latest updates, it has become a nightmare.

If choose no audio by mistake, there's no option to change this

When I eventually managed to join a meeting, I couldn't get any audio. Unfortunately due to severe tiredness I chose an incorrect option beforehand of no audio then I found I was given no option to change it however hard I tried. It just said "are you sure you want no audio" without letting me say yes or no which is absolutely ridiculous. So I gave up and have uninstalled the app.

I find Teams incredibly frustrating

I find Teams incredibly frustrating. It remembers nothing and it gets lost after a search, click, or just by using it. It is a CLICK BAIT nightmare!
What really works is the search function! BUT, and there is a big BUT. Once you have found a file, it will not let you know where it is located. It teases you, and you will forever remain lost. I find my best use in SharePoint because here it is possible to identify the location, and it does not get lost on the way.
Wake up, TEAMS, and start fixing all the bugs that make our lives a living CLICK NIGHTMARE! 😊

I miss slack

My company recently switched it’s communication platform from Slack to Teams, and I am not pleased with the change. Teams feels overly complex to navigate and buggy. In addition, the user interface is very cold and corporate, which I feel hinders the human side of communication in remote teams like ours.

A new age….not a better one

I am seeing mostly complaints about the application itself & as of yet, I have not encountered any problems. Where I am consistently having issues is the repetitive scams claiming to be offering employment & or interviews. Over the past month or so I have been avidly looking to acquire a remote job position & have not had a very good experience & especially anything involving Microsoft Teams. That is not to necessarily place blame on the application & or Microsoft, but just to simply raise awareness of fraudulent activity. The most significant indicators are often obvious once recognized. One that I experience most often is trying to obtain banking information & demanding I “open a local bank account” in order to be paid. That is just one of many, but more common. Just stay vigilant folks & do not hesitate to ask questions & or reach out to the company the individual is claiming to work for to verify credentials.
