Have used Taxfix (formerly Tax scouts ) for the last 3 years and never any issues until my most recent tax return. Lisa, my accountant, seemed satisfied at the time to use the requested information sent to her to calculate my tax return which ultimately resulted in a rebate. HMRC, having then recalculated the claim sent by Lisa, requested the money back, charged the actual tax due and slapped a late fee on for good measure! (even though my return was filed on time). Lisa's response? Abdicate any responsibility whatsoever, draw my attention to the Taxfix terms and conditions, including my responsibility to check the information, and then blame me for sending her the 'wrong' information in the first place! I'm sure their are some good ones in there but i'll be looking elsewhere next time.

A great fast way to do your tax return all completed within hours with good information before it's sent thanks very much.

Fast responses to my queries and my tax filing was done in a very short time. Reasonable cost.

Hannah is knowledgeable and responds promptly to any questions. She is open to a discussion in order to ensure the tax return is accurate and is compliance with the ever changing tax legislation.

I worked with Rhian on my first tax return. I was extremely clueless as to what documents were needed, but the website has guided me through the process.
Once the initial documents were submitted and I started working with Rhian, I was worried that my lack of knowledge would be an inconvenience, however, Rhian made me feel at ease and answered my questions professionally, clearly and super quick! She guided me through all the steps and completed all her parts so quickly.
The service had exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone, I will be returning next year!

It takes a little while to grasp the layout of the Taxfix format, but help is at hand.

This was my first time doing my self assessment - and I have a few revenue streams so it wasn't an easy one. It had been causing me a lot of anxiety and I honestly couldn't have wished for a better experience. Chaudhry Suleman answered all my questions with such patience and reassured me that everything I'd been recording was correct.

It is easy, if you have any question you can ask and they answer within 24h.

It's a very easy process, just upload all spread sheets and records.

Have been using tax scouts for a few years however this time I had a query on a number and didnt get a reply I had to chase up a second time. It turns out the figure I had queried was added up incorrectly, although it was a small discrepency, it's made me a little uneasy for next time.
