Task Rabbit is hopeless
Task Rabbit is hopeless. I booked and had six taskers cancel on me before I was able to get someone to actually do the job. The customer service center was useless and was unable to help me resolve the issue of the multiple cancellations. I will not use a Task Rabbit again and advise others to avoid this service unless they want to waste a lot of time and experience a lot of frustration.
UPDATE:
Even the response form Task Rabbit here on Trust Pilot is just a stock response. You can read an identical response from them over and over again on here. If they really cared (which they don´t) they would reach out to dissatisfied customers with something a bit more meaningful and constructive.

I am very frustrated with Task Rabbit
I am very frustrated with Task Rabbit. Recently I have tried to book taskers for two separate jobs at two different times. I have booked and then had at least six different taskers cancel on me. It has just happened to me again today. I don´t understand why they are allowed to do this if their schedules show availability. I chatted with a customer service rep and the best she could do was aplogize and offer me a €10 credit towards my next task but what good is this if I can't actually get a tasker who will honour the appointment I make with them? The Task Rabbit service is rubbish.

Well, guess what? The tasker I booked this morning to replace the one who cancelled has also just cancelled - Unbelievable!

The tasker I booked yesterday to replace the one who cancelled the day before has just cancelled on me. For this particular task I have now had four taskers cancel on me and he has disabled the Chat function. I am amazed that he can get away with treating TR users like this. Very frustrating and totally unprofessional service from TaskRabbit and their customer service is of no help as they take no responsibility, saying that the taskers are independent contractors and they have no control over what they do.

Everything went well and the platform is easy to use. In addition, the fact that you can pay directly online makes life much easier.

Effective and reliable platform
Very easy to book a handyman through Task rabbit and prices for the necessary work quoted were fair. The handyman who turned up was courteous and professional and the work was done quickly and well.
