Ordered paint online in June; still not received the goods. No reply to emails or phone number on the website. It now appears the website is down.

The owner n, also co-owns Paint Depot alongside her partner - also fraudulent with equally bad reviews on here. Tangletree have recently changed their name on facebook to Felix Domus & Co to try to cover their tracks.
Both Tangletree and Paint Depot have the same company number on companies house.
I can’t believe they get away with it; whilst driving around in a 64 plate Porsche 4x4 which has been spotted outside the premises of Tangletree in Rutherford Street, Newcastle (shop doors locked but lights on and owners in there)

I urge people to report to Action Fraud online- won’t let me add link- do this before trying to claim money back
Through banks etc as they won’t take action if you have gained money back.

Take action; report so countless others don’t have to suffer and help profits for fraudulent criminals

Edit- I've had to edit this as the owner flagged up that i brought her name up. She's concerned about her name being public and asking TrustPilot to amend reviews, but hasn't got the time to respond to emails and return peoples money.
It's easy enough to find her name with a little look at the directors on companies house anyway for both associated companies.

Ordered expensive paint from Paint Depot..their site. Waited weeks. No way I could phone. Emails full. Clearly a scam. Should be reported to Trading Standards. They are still taking orders from Paint Depot

I Ordered wall paper back in 2012 from this company with no hassles. On May the 27th I placed an order on-line #6372 Paid £313.60.
I have emailed on 3 occasions. I asked for a request on the delivery. They were looking into it. I was told wallpaper was coming from Belgium....I contacted them again. They would look into it. I emailed requesting my money back ....NO REPLY. Date 26th of July 2023. No reply, No Wallpaper, No Refund. I have also called and the Mail box is full. So disappointed and disheartened at these people for taking peoples hard earned cash and not supplying the goods. I will have to take this to the next level to get my money returned. Let down.

This site allowed me to place an order even though the stock was not in for a number of weeks. I then cancelled the order as offered. It has taken nearly 4 weeks to get a refund of £224. THE CONTACT IS SHOCKING RESOIND TO ABOUT 1 IN 4 EMAILS IF YOU ARE LUCKY AND NO PHONE ANSWERED. HAD TO THREATEN KEGAL ACTION AND PAYPAL INVOLVED TO GET A REFUND.

Order never arrived, repeated emails not answered. Applied for refund through credit card.

I placed an ordre 10 days ago (order 6336).I wrote à mail, I called the company no one answer me. I think I got ripped off and it’s a fraudulent company. I am waiting to get my money back

I was really excited when I ordered my wallpaper from Tangletree, particularly as I had managed to get their summer sale reduction . Then I read some of the negative feedback about people not getting orders or refunds. I even made a random call to their warehouse just to see if I got an answer after some had reported the phone was never answered!
Firstly, the phone was answered and a very reassuring gentleman answered my obscure question.
Secondly my order arrived 3 days later with delivery updates along the way.
I am absolutely delighted with my purchase, very confidant in ordering from Tangletree again and implore any future buyers , to post their positive experiences instead of just the very few cases where mistakes have happened.

I bought some old wallpaper books for my son for school. The staff were really helpful and even helped me carry all the heavy books to the car. Fantastic customer service and excellent products

Ordered, and paid £164, for wallpaper. No delivery after 2 weeks. No reply to emails or phone messages (as you can't get through). Luckily bank reversed payment but save yourself the hassle and time involved go elsewhere there are plenty of suppliers who understand the benefit of a good customer relationship.

Been shopping for wallpaper from Tangletree for years, always been very helpful especially the ladies in the store. Don’t know what’s happened but last couple of times we’ve been in, they’ve been worse than useless. I ordered some wallpaper samples which never arrived, and on visiting the store recently they never even acknowledge us even though we stood there for at least 30 mins looking at wallpapers, completely ignored us. The staff there now I don’t recognise, maybe it’s the owner? Well I’ll definitely not be going back or ordering anymore from them.

Visited the store this morning and once again received fantastic customer service! Staff were great - very helpful and knowledgeable. Their range is fantastic and I always go in thinking I know what I want but end up coming out with something totally different and stunning!
A little tip if you can’t get parked right outside the shop - about 5 or 6 bays on Westgate Road opposite Nexus. I went at 10am on a Friday morning and they were all empty. Store is a 2 minute walk away.

Am still waiting for a refund for £256 which was not in stock - its now been nearly 5 weeks. They also never answer the phone!

BE CAREFUL SWINDLES on this website where they did not want to refund my money for an order which I made but where the product was out of stock.
They did not tell me that the product was exhausted but in more I had to fight to get back my money, fortunately I had paid with PAYPAL and paypal took back the money from their account. A band of thieves, Run AWAY ,flee ! VERY VERY BAD TRIP ! DO NOT ORDER !

Ordered a wallpaper that despite being featured on their website, was out of stock. Was assured 'accounts' were processing the refund. Still haven't received the refund -over a month later.

VERY BAD SERVICE. Took over 3 weeks for a refund. Ordered wallpaper which was no longer available. I had to call to chase after 5 days - they didn't let me know. It then took another 21 days and several emails before I received a refund!

They took almost 400 GBP for wallpaper that they did not have and did not refund the payments. Apparently, they have done the same things to many other people in the last 3 years.

Fantastic experience all round the staff are so friendly and helpful.

WOW, what fabulous interior design specialists. Recently dropped in for some inspiration on new coverings for our lounge. Simply blown away by the service. The lady who served me was so knowledgeable on a wide range of designer wall coverings and spent ages helping us decide on samples. The owners creative flair shone through. The shop itself was simply exquisite - and the prices were so reasonable. Can't wait to go back.

I went to Tangletree for some decorating items and was very impressed with the professional and knowledgable staff that work there. I managed to get lots of things that complement each other.

I used Tangle tree interiors when I needed some inspiration for soft furnishings (curtains, bedspreads and cushions) in 3 bedrooms, and also my cinema room. I wanted to make a statement and they certainly delivered.

Friendly and helpful staff with great design ideas!

Would definitely recommend.
