Fraudulent Business Practices

From reading the other reviews here, it seems that I am just another victim of this guy's fraudulent practices. We returned a faulty car for a refund, by agreement, but the refund never came. We raised a Small Claims case to recover our losses, and we successfully secured a County Court Judgement (CCJ) for the money. This guy has ignored every approach from me, Trading Standards, the County Courts, and the County Court Bailiffs over the past 11-12 months. The site has now been closed and emptied, so the bailiffs could not enforce any repayment. It's hard to believe that people like this can trade in such a fraudulent way, and get away with it. Beware this man, he is a fraud and a criminal.

sean is a fraudster

evil company who sold me a dodgy red ford focus, was in limp mode and he refused to fix it even though it had a warranty. it took me 3 months to try get my money back, after 2 days of owning i had a loss of power, no heating, limp mode and engine temp wouldnt reach any higher than 60 degrees and also air con didnt work. sean kept saying he would collect the car but never did. i have all the messages and did eventually report him for fraud. selling a broken car then telling me the car was perfect. took 10 miles to notice all these issues and i doubt he would of test drove it. im disabled and he caused me £2500 loss as the car had to be scrapped as turned out head gasket had gone and engine was cracked at the front. hes a liar and a nasty person. government should shut this idiot down. i had 3 months of depression and anxiety. i felt like giving up. horrible man

Never ever use this company

Never ever use this company. He'll take your money, then come the excuses, this needs this done, that needs to be done and after a week of this he goes onto silent routine, ignores calls, texts and messages. Finally got my money back by using a scam service, but of course this costs you. Only at this point does he get in contact because it's showing on their bank accounts demanding I stop the recovery process of my money. Avoid like the plague, total rip-off merchant

★☆☆☆☆ SW MOTORS WIGAN – ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS, SOLD ME A DANGEROUS CAR AND STOLE MY MONEY

★☆☆☆☆ SW MOTORS WIGAN – ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS, SOLD ME A DANGEROUS CAR AND STOLE MY MONEY

This place is a complete disgrace. SW Motors Wigan sold me a car that was dangerous and should never have been on the road. I returned it expecting a full refund – as any decent business would do after selling something that put someone’s safety at risk.

But instead? They took the car back and kept my money. No refund. No communication. No shame. Just total silence like a bunch of cowards hoping I’ll go away.

I’ve already threatened legal action, and I will do everything in my power to hold these scammers accountable. What they’re doing is not just dishonest – it’s criminal. They knowingly sold an unsafe vehicle, took it back, and still kept the money. That’s theft, plain and simple.

SW Motors Wigan are liars, crooks, and a danger to anyone who walks onto their forecourt. They should not be allowed to trade, and I’ll be reporting them to every authority I can – Trading Standards, DVSA, and anyone else who’ll listen.

Avoid like the plague. They don’t deserve a single penny from anyone

On Rogue Traders

This company has numerous complains and is the subject of legal proceedings. They sold a dangerous car then when it was returned lied about their bank account being suspended. No money has been returned to a number of people. They are on Rogue Traders. AVOID!!!!!!!

Broken cars con man

I purchased a red Ford focus five weeks ago and on the first few days I had faults with it going into limp mode, DPF clogged, EGR warning light, not getting to operating temperature, boost pressure sensor issue and no air-conditioning. He said the car was perfect, obviously not. He said it came with full service history but he has not sent anything through the post and all he has given me is a piece of paper with something he’s written about a service and timing belt which does not prove anything. Several times he was supposed to collect the car to fix it and failed to turn up saying his driver is sick. Then when I have asked him for a refund as he sold a car that does not match description as is not working he refused. He has been ignoring messages for the last few weeks and does not answer the phone. I have had to take legal action to get my £2295 back. What could’ve been a simple thing to sort out now he could face a lot of trouble. He brought it on himself. Who gave this guy his license to sell cars? sean is a con man. Luckily, I have enough evidence to get my money back and show that he is a liar. I have a disability and I am finding it very difficult getting about without a car as the one he sold me does not even start

sw motor con

bought a red ford focus from sean. im not happy at all. he said the car was perfect. after 10 miles I noticed the car was not getting up to operating temperature, I told him about it one day after buying the car and he was not interested. He kept telling me to book it into getting it fixed. It’s not up to me to get it fixed. It comes with six months warranty. After 12 days of him not doing anything it starts to have problems with the DPF, EGR, boost sensor failure. My stepdad has tried to contact him too, but not answered the phone. I have now had to phone the warranty company myself and sort it, but the car is now in limp mode and I have contacted the dealer again saying the car is broken down and he is just ignoring me. Please do not go to the dealer.

Bought the car end of March meant to of had 6 months warranty on her. Fuel injectors went in April. He was meant to pick the car up to fix her but didn't collect the car. He then refused to cover the bill but said he would. Still chasing him for the money that he owes on this bill. I wouldn't trust this company at all go somewhere else to purchase cars.

Really AWFUL experience

Bought a car from them. First when I came for a test drive something was not right so they said they will fix it. They ‘did’. Few days later I came to have a look, all looked ok so bought a car. Day later oil light came on. I was not too worried as it was just when I started vehicle and as was doing it all the time I thought it is just resetting as you start vehicle or something. Something less then 2 months later (drove less then 200 miles so far) and car started to show oil light and saying to stop safely.. so I did. Now it came, I spoke to mechanic in my town and he said it might be cambelt. Alright I bought car with warranty so will contact them.. Warranty said to take car to VAT garage for diagnostic. I did. Diagnostic- what a surprise! Least 10 things wrong. Main issue cambelt which was not serviced as should have been. Good dealership would surely know and do it. Then suspensions, coil springs and lots of other stuff. Cost estimate over 2700 for repairs. The car was sold to me for 5k and it done before I got it 60000 miles, year 2013. So I followed all advices from warranty. Took over 3 weeks to get them back to me with saying they decline the claim. Reason? Cambelt not serviced as should of been so that’s not covered. Then coil springs were apparently claimed on 21/11/2023 so they can not approve claim again… I bought car around 5/11/2023 and surely I know I didn’t have car in garage or claim anything! Means they used my name, my warranty to fix something before sale and it was not even done! Otherwise diagnostic (and I saw on video how they looked) would know. Anything else on list was connected to this two points so also not covered.

So basically they sold a car with lots of issues, saying they fixed something they did not, and even claimed in my name without me knowing!! That’s just fraudsters.

Avoid!Avoid!Avoid!

I wish I would know before and would never go there to buy car in my life. If you decide to buy a car from this place thinking it has warranty you must be mad! I wish I would be wrong but after all I went through with it in last 3-4 weeks I just can not say anything better. Just please go anywhere else. This dealership is far from being genuine.
