Dreadful

Dreadful. I moved into a brand new building, and was bombarded with misleading texts and emails from them, suggesting I absolutely needed to use their service to connect my supply. This was not true, and they only showed one single supplier, the equally dodgy Rebel Energy. Overnight on the change date, I noticed my smart meter was absolutely through the roof. Like others have said, this seems like some kind of scam - and that Rebel keep being mentioned is damning of them, too. No smoke without fire.

Feels dodgy

Similar to some other people, we are having a very strange experience with them and it does feel like a scam. We went on their website and selected an energy supplier but a week later, no news from them or the supplier. Switch-it email adress does actually exist and there is no other way to contact them. We have just moved into our new place so this is really adding some extra stress to a process that they are supposed to make easier....

Something is strange

Moving into a new London apartment and got a call from Rent4Sure? Switch-it? Homebox? Home Telecom? Ryan told me he was calling from Rent4Sure, but I get emails from the other mentioned companies instead. This is called lying. He asked to get me started on an energy supplier and internet, which is all great, but I wanted to think about it first and asked him to send me his suggestions and pricing comparisons. No, he pressured me into making a decision then and there because he can only give confirmed pricing offers over the phone. That's not what I wanted, and you can most certainly give me a range over email. What's more annoying is that there was so much noise in the background, it was so difficult to hear him. He suggested Rebel Energy as providing the best deal, except when I looked them up myself, it had the worst reviews, especially on customer service. That's really strange coming from someone who insisted I sign up with Home Telecom instead of Virgin Media, claiming that Virgin Media had comparably terrible customer service. I believed him and provided my debit details...when I really should have hung up immediately. I will be cancelling all orders.
Interestingly, when I email Switch-it support, support[at]switch-it.co.uk, I got a notification saying the email address does not exist. Their order confirmation email also claims they provide live chat support, but that is not found/accessible on their website.
Everything could very well be fine, but the whole experience was just too strange for me to trust them...it feels like a scam.

Unreliable and unresponsive

I really want to warn people off this company. I've had no satisfactory information from them about my switch. As a result I have the original energy supplier of the property continuing to act as if they supply the energy.

Unresponsive customer service - actually not even an automated response acknowledging my questions.

Very, very poor.
