Not just scandalous, incompetent too

The whole idea of making you download a special "card" for refunds is appalling and British Airways should be ashamed just for that. (I'm assuming a decent percentage of balances are never spent, saving them a fortune in compensation.) but to be even more specific, when two separate compensations require TWO instances of the crappy Swiipr card you can point to sheer crappy product design, not just ill intent. Literally never going to fly BA again and Swiipr is a must-avoid brand.

Awful to have to use a 3rd party app…

Awful to have to use a 3rd party app for compensation. The virtual card disappeared from my Google wallet within 5 days. I way to recover it.
What an awful way to treat loyal customers. This along with the other efforts BA have made to alienate their most loyal customers is really not a surprise - I would give zero stars if it was possible.

Useless

Useless, won't let you create an account so can't access compensation funds. BA should not use this useless company. Sobad it's almost a scam.

Total scam

Total scam. Our flight from Houston to London was 5 hours late and we got 9 dollar electronic Swiipr cards as compensation from BA. Cards were total scam! They were not accepted anywhere in the Airport.
