Placed an order on the 4th of February…

Placed an order on the 4th of February with 48hour delivery and still haven’t received the order! Escalated to customer service and was offered just the delivery money back even though I have had to go and buy more gifts as it’s pointless having a gift for a special occasion after the date. Didn’t feel like customer service were that fussed

Very happy

Very happy, made plenty of order never been disappointed, brought the valentine sweet bundle with jar, sweets are lovely, ordered the 4k bucket waiting for it to arrive very excited

Poor customer response

Poor customer response, keep advertising on social media but can't deliver orders on time.

Yet again a company that has no customer service once they have taken your money. Website states Order now for fast dispatch. Ordered in the morning before opening, 3 days later still not processed order.

They don't reply to emails or chats on socials, no phone number to call to get money back.

Standard is dropping.

Always been a huge fan of sweetzy despite a problem with an order once before which was resolved. However I don't think I'll be ordering again. The quality of the sweets has definitely got worse. There's still a few good ones don't get me wrong but the bulk are bland compared to what they used to stock. Irs like theyve swappedput for cheaper alternatives. The valentines bundle this year is underwhelming. The tubs included are supposed to be sour and fizzy. Where is the sour and where is the fizz. Bland! And don't get me started on the valentines mix. Not a patch on previous years mix. Completely different with many of the favourites completely gone.
Such a shame. It seems the bigger they've got the standard as dropped and from reading some other reviews others feel the same. Such a shame as this was such a fantastic company. What I will say is delivery was very quick so a plus.

Slow delivery, despite website claims of being fast

While the sweets I get are always lovely, their claim of fast shipping is far from correct.

I ordered on Thursday, it was dispatched on the Saturday and today, Tuesday, I’m still waiting for an updated delivery day from Evri. Nearly a week, if it arrives, is really poor.

Please stop using Evri. The long postage has really put me off ordering again. Royal Mail would be much better.

Disappointed

Didn't get notification or acknowledgement of order until the day they where shipped. Customer service didn't come back to me for several days not 48hours. The main sweets wanted in both orders wasn't sent and was replaced with more of other but no warning or alternative offered. Disappointed and probably won't order again. Nothing wrong with what was sent but wasn't what I ordered the customer service process is lacking massively

Never agian

Placed an order for a 2.75kg bag of pick n mix on Wednesday. I paid for the tracked 24 delivery with EVRI option. Thursday came EVRI told me it was out for delivery. It was then updated with a message telling me to contact the seller. Emailed Sweetzy as no contact number who informed me it was due for delivery on the following working day. Friday came still no delivery and no communication with sweetzy! I have since spoken to my EVRI driver who hasn't given been given this parcel for delivery!

First time ordering from sweetzy and will 100% be my last! Their communication is absolutely dreadful!

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Item arrived in a ripped box with items missing. Photos supplied and they are refusing a refund as they said there is no evidence to say it arrived like that.

What a rapid decline

I have been a long time customer of Sweetzy due to them being local to me but not any more. I placed an order on Sunday 2nd February and as per their website they state "Orders placed over the weekend or on a Bank Holiday will not be dispatched until the next working day." It is now Wednesday (5th) evening and my order is still showing as 'Processing'. They only offer email as a way to contact them and with a reply time if you're lucky of 48 hours you wont really get anywhere. So I contacted them on Facebook and Instagram to ask for an update on my order, all my comments kept getting deleted and they eventually blocked me on Facebook for questioning where my order is. They used to be such a good company, quality and delivery was first rate, and being 10 minutes up the road from me I felt good supporting a local business. But when they take my money and block me for daring to ask where my order is that is well beyond due, its no surprise that local customers are using BeeSweets instead who actually care about their customer base. Very sad to see them decline so much.

Disappointing advent calendar

I’ve been a loyal Sweetzy customer for a while and have always enjoyed their high-quality sweets and wide variety of choices. My partner kindly gifted me a Sweetzy advent calendar for December, and while I was excited, I was unfortunately disappointed by the selection. The sweets inside seemed to be cheaper alternatives with less flavor compared to what I’ve come to expect from Sweetzy.

In contrast, I also ordered some sweets for my mum for Christmas and received a free 250g bag of fizzy sweets. Some of them appeared similar to those in the advent calendar, but they looked and tasted noticeably better. This inconsistency was disappointing, especially given the price of the advent calendar, where I expected the same high-quality sweets Sweetzy is known for.

As a returning customer, I feel the quality has started to decline, which is disappointing. Because of this, I won’t be purchasing an advent calendar from Sweetzy again this year and wouldn’t recommend it to others. I hope they take customer feedback into account and improve future selections.

This will be my lost order with this company

This experience left much to be desired. I have ordered from this company before so I know their sweets are delightful. However, the delivery and customer service require significant improvement. I placed my order on Tuesday 28th of January around 10 AM, selecting a delivery option within 48 hours, with the expectation of same-day dispatch since my order was placed before 2 PM. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a gift did not arrive until the Sunday 2nd of February which is almost a week after my order, if I knew that at the time I wouldn’t have placed my order in the first place. When I reached out to customer service, they essentially confirmed that even if you select this type of delivery option, orders are not dispatched the same day as advertised on their website. The dispatch took 3 DAYS and the delivery took 3 days!!!

I chose not to respond to their last message because I felt I was being given the runaround with no apology for their false/misleading advertising as their answer contradicted what is advertised on their website. Therefore, I will not order from them again and I will be moving on to another company as this has been an awful experience as I had to spend more money for a birthday present to come on time. They have lost a loyal customer as I used to order from them regularly.

Bad processes and customer service

I recently placed an order with Sweetzy and used a promotion code for two additional free bags. However, I did not receive these bags and contacted their customer service. I provided the promotion code and a full explanation. Initially, they claimed the code was only valid for a specific bag, which I contested, as it was clearly stated on their website that it was a valid promotion code. I even sent them a screenshot of their site to prove my point. Despite this, their response was that it is the customer's responsibility to check that the code is accepted, and the product is included. How is a customer supposed to know this if the order process does not make it clear?

After a long process and multiple incorrect responses, I did not receive the bags and have a bad experience with a company that claims to be customer-focused

Website is easy to navigate

Website is easy to navigate. Ordering was easy. Dispatch was fast (next day) but that's where it all went down hill. This company use Evri as there delivery partner, which was voted the worst in UK. Recieved a email from Evri on 16th to say it was out for delivery. Never delivered. Tracking never updated. By the Saturday I emailed customer services, they confirmed tracking hadn't updated and would raise this with Evri. Two days later I chased up again, they replied to say they were chasing this with evri.

The customer service is poor.they can see the order has not been delivered. And have as yet not sent any replacement. I am a first time customer and I don't think I'll order again. It's not there fault and more evri but they should be more proactive at resolving issues and ensuring customers get what they have paid for.
