TBH I was skeptical ESP sending things by post and the fact that everything is online. But the service was great delivery within two working days and they inspected the phone same day and money... See more

Very disappointing after-sales support
I bought an iPhone 12 mini as a gift, and on the first day of use the recipient noticed that the phone has a touchscreen fault, with the right side of the screen registering unintended touches.
I contacted Swappie and provided a video demonstrating the problem and asked them whether they could offer an alternative solution, such as contributing towards a local repair, reimbursing an approved repair, or providing a reasonable partial refund. Unfortunately, they were not willing to offer a solution that addressed the situation.
I understand that warranty procedures normally involve returning a device but, in my own case, the recipient is resident outside of Europe, so returning the phone to Ireland and then having it shipped back after repair would involve significant international shipping costs. I expected a little more flexibility and customer support given the circumstances, particularly as this was a faulty device that was sold to me rather than damage caused by the recipient.
The issue with the phone was disappointing, but what disappointed me more was the lack of a practical solution from their customer service.
It is difficult to believe that Swappie did not know that the device was faulty before putting it out for sale. This was my first Swappie purchase, and unfortunately the experience has made me reluctant to use the company again.

Great service
They sold us a phone intended for the US market rather than the European market, and there was no mention of this anywhere.
We bought our son an iPhone from Swappie in what was described as perfect condition. After just four months, the camera stopped working and we had to send the phone in for repair.
After a year and a half, the phone suddenly stopped receiving calls, and it was no longer possible to call it either. As the warranty had already expired, we took it to an authorized service center. They told us that Swappie had sold us a phone intended for the US market rather than the European market, and that they were therefore unable to repair it. This was never mentioned or disclosed anywhere when we purchased the phone.
I honestly feel completely misled. This was not a cheap phone, and after just a year and a half, it is essentially useless to us.
I would never buy anything from Swappie again.

1A Service!
I am severely disappointed at my…
I am severely disappointed at my service at swappie. I bought an iPhone 13 pro premium and paid €430 for it when I got it i was initially impressed with the quility but the battery started to go down severely. Within 5 months the battery had gone down 15% battery health. It has now been about 9 months and the battery health is at 75% I would not recommend

Ordered airpods
Ordered airpods, which arrived and didn’t work/connect to bluetooth. Filled out a form to send back and received an answer, but no return label. Sent several emails and answers are AI generated and very unprofessional.
This is a scam, do not order.
Did get a reply from Swappie here, but nowhere else. Also, we did receive an email from a team member as well without any information about timeline. Neither does Swappie’s answer here.
Giving same information twice does not sum up to costumer service.

WARNING: Swappie will keep your phone AND your money if something goes wrong
I sold my iPhone 16 to Swappie trade in and have been met with a dismissive, poorly-reasoned rejection of my compensation claim. Here's the full timeline:
17 August – Shipped my iPhone 16 to Swappie using their official packaging and provided shipping label.
18 August – Package arrived at Swappie's facility.
25 August – After days of me chasing them asking where my package/payment was, Swappie finally informed me the package had arrived empty.
10 September – After I filed a critical claim, Swappie gave me a DHL case number. Within 2 hours of receiving that case number, I got a rejection email — hardly enough time for any genuine investigation. They say the package weighed 0.18 kg the whole time and to them it was empty. FACTS: Iphone 16 weighs 170gm + Swappie's official packaging 10 gm = 180 gms (0.18 kg).
14 September – Swappie said the case had been "escalated to another team," but provided no details, no new case number, and no name or contact for this team.
15 September – I sent a detailed weight-based rebuttal: an iPhone 16 weighs ~170g, and Swappie's own packaging weighs no more than 10g empty — combined, that's exactly the 0.18 kg DHL recorded, which matches a package that DID contain the phone, not an empty one.
16 September – Swappie repeated that their decision "stays the same," again without addressing the weight math, without confirming their own packaging weight, and without any transparency about their Germany facility's intake process. When I asked where I could file a formal complaint, they said I "could" file one but gave no actual details on where or how. The only people I've been communicating with are "Janet" and "Anastasia" from a generic email address — no surnames, no job titles, no dispute department name, and no board or escalation contact provided at any point. And they say you can complain to any board wherever you want our answer remains the same.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating. Their own DHL evidence actually supports my claim, yet they refuse to engage with basic logic, won't confirm facts about their own procedures, and offer no real path to escalate a dispute — just first-name-only replies from a shared inbox with no accountability. I've filed a complaint with the [European Commission] and will be taking this story to Dutch and Finnish news outlets if this isn't resolved fairly.
If you're considering selling your device through Swappie, be aware of how they handle disputes when something goes wrong on their end.

Ordered 2 iphone 14 pro, both with camera stains
Ordered 2 iphone 14 pro, both of them in ''very good'' conditions but they both had stains in the camera that were inside the lens.... it seems they try to get rid of useless iphones instead of delivering a good product, i hope the 3rd one i order will be good as they promise

They don’t say that battery is not oryginal
I would start form the fact that they do not inform you that when you choose „new battery” and you pay extra they won’t get you the oryginal battery… they wait till you order and the package is on there way and then they send you email that battery is not oryginal… that’s pretty annoying because if I would knew I wouldnt buy phone form them:.. also I can also agree with some comments that with new battery ( not oryginal) my phone have times when I have 80% battery and is just going off… when is on again is showing 10% for whole day…. I think they are not real with the costumers because they didn’t write anywhere that the battery won’t be oryginal… at that point I would rather buy new phone!! TOTATY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
