Unprofessional Cancellation Practices. AVOID SURE.
I have tried to cancel my policy 5 times this month, and every time I am told I will be called back, only to never be called back. When I call and reach an actual person, I am passed to multiple agents that are "unable to cancel my policy" and that then pass me along to a final agent that says their team is at capacity and will call me back. I don't need this policy anymore, and there is absolutely no way to get in touch with someone who can solve this. Emailing does nothing either; every time I email, I get directed to call the number. I will be disputing this charge, as I have tried multiple times to get this policy canceled, have been sent a confirmation that the policy is canceled, and yet it's still active multiple weeks later and a refund has not been issued, despite being told I'd receive a refund 10 days after receiving a cancellation confirmation. I was told, when I called, that I wasn't charged, even though I have the charge posted on my account and can verify that I have been charged.
This is 100% a scam. Save yourself the time and energy, and go to a company that actually responds to concerns, and doesn't just autorespond that they can help resolve your issues via phone or email; they do neither.

This company is a scam! I'll call the toll-free 844 number many many times and always I'm told that an agent will return my call. It's been weeks now and I have not received a call from anyone. This is a waste of time and waste of money. Don't let the same thing happen to you!
TOO much back and forth with email of coverage to rental company!!!
Due to the rental I was getting I was required to extended insurance coverage. Once on the web page my rental company was not listed, so I had to call and be walked through the purchase. then the coverages were vague but the rental c0ompany told me which to acquire. The rest of the experience was good. All except a copy of agreement should be automatically sent to rental company and me this would keep some of the steps and have to forward email of the coverage purchase to the rental company.

Horrible Cancellation Policy
Sure was easy to set up -- but their cancellation policy was clearly designed to be difficult to cancel. I had to call, only during business hours, and was told multiple times that "all agents were busy" and that they would call me back later. It's difficult to impossible for me to believe that this was not deliberate -- it's very easy to prioritize building a self-serve cancellation method.
The experience made me feel that Sure is a crook of an insurance company, with policies designed to steal from consumers. Don't use them.

If Unprofessionalism bordering on Fraud Was A Person!!
It is very sad that after I had PAID OFF THE ENTIRE PREMIUM FOR MY POLICY, they attempted to charge me again for $114! Being that my card is usually locked for exactly this sort of chicanery, they proceeded to start harassing me with emails. When I asked why I’m being harassed, I was told to provide “proof of payment so we can investigate further”. This is not a third party we’re talking about here: it’s the folks who took my money that are trying to take double payment and asking me to provide proof I paid the first time. So if by any chance I didn’t have the receipts for any reason, they’ll have insisted on billing me again.
And what is with the different names? I purchased my insurance from Assurant, and had Sure harassing me over same policy. This whole thing left me pissed and with a sour taste in my mouth.

I recently (December 23rd) tried to ordered insurance for a rental for December 28th and 29th. I was told that all of the agents were busy and that someone would call me back. I waited for almost an hour but got no call. I finally called back at 5:51 pm (est) because I did not know what time Sure closed and did not know if they would be open on the 24th. I got the same "someone will call me back" this time also. Someone did call me back relatively quickly this time and I was able to purchase the insurance. If Sure has a "will call you back" feature, someone should call back sooner. Who knows when, or even if, I would have gotten a call back. My mother has a doctor's appointment that she HAS to get to on the 29th, the 28th would have been too late to get the insurance, and I did not know if Sure is open on weekends (I didn't think Sure would be open on Christmas day).
