Welcome to Lenovo support hell

Bought a new YobaBook 9I (end June), unpacked and found it was broken, impossible to even install for first time use. Immediately opened a support case, that was over three months ago. Since then had to send it in twice, got it back still broken. The mail exchanges with their support team are surreal, rude, condescending and not providing any answer.
Stuck in Lenovo support hell without any idea if I ever get my money back or a laptop that works. This is by far the worst support experience I ever had.

Lenovo has the worst customer service…

Lenovo has the worst customer service and tech support of any company that I have ever dealt with. In my first call for tech support, they asked for a lot of personal information and gave me a "case number". But, they couldn't help me and answer my technical question. When I called second time, they couldn't find my case number. I called a third time with a simple question and the "tech support" couldn't answer it. The tech support guys just ramble through a written page with their heavy Indian accent that I sometimes had difficulty understand. Shame on Lenovo. I will never again buy any of their products, ever!

I have an even better one for you

I have an even better one for you. Not only did UPs fail to attempt a final redelivery, they also took it upon themselves to dispatch my laptop back to Lenovo without informing or giving me a chance to pick up from a collection point, I contacted UPs to intercept and of course they couldn't do anything.

I then Contacted Lenovo about the situation and by the time they replied, my order was due for a refund and they could not resend the laptop... the laptop was needed for university, my money is in refund limbo and I wasted almost a whole month for this. Thanks Lenovo, highly not recommended.

Please don't buy Lenovo product after sales, services quality of Lenovo is worst, no one replay properly please don't buy Lenovo product, Last two months I raised my concern but till the date my problems has been not resolved.

[Lenovo 'Premium Care'] Small Bluetooth issue = factory reset everything 🤦

Had a small Bluetooth not turning on problem. Their genius 'premium care' solution was to factory reset eveything and reinstall Windows. No, not even a system sfc /scannow was suggested. Luckily I knew about it.
Like people don't already know about it, and have no data for daily-driver. A bunch of non-technical guys who have no knowledge of their own product

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! WAITING WAITING WAITING WAITING on BOTH chat and phone.....over 40 minutes with NO HELP...finally hung up.. TERRIBLE will never buy from them again because they don't care enough for their customers to hire enough help to help us!

Bad Support

Rep wanted to get rid of me fast as possible. Did not take the time to try and understand my problem. Gave poor advice. Really bad compared to my Dells tech support.

very bad services

very bad services
1) dishonest, put order and mentioned 5-7 working days, the schedule delayed time by time
2) payment deducted, but invoice wrong
3) the order can't tracking suddenly and disappear in the web account, very frustrating
4) web customer service guided you to contact different Lenovo team to settle issues yourself, meaningless support. Just know to transfer the info and say sorry like a robot. disppointed

Horrible customer support

Horrible service. I have called them about 8 times in the past 7 months explaining the same issue again and again. Was promised i would hear back from them once they get the reply from their Backoffice (not sure that thing even exists, maybe was just used as an excuse to get rid of me). Was told it might take a week or two. 7 months later - nothing. Called again and again - same promise - nothing.
Better say you do not care directly, instead of wasting my and your time. 7 months of assuring me they would come back to me… unbelievable. Never experienced such a bad service/customer support anywhere.
Will do my best to never order from Lenovo again, neither my family will. Really a pity. They have good products. But with such attitude and (no)support - no, thanks. There are plenty of other options on the market.

Liars, lazy, unprofessional

Just like David Webb, I am being led around in circles. Lenovo support are straight up lying.

I had ordered a laptop from Lenovo which was customised. I noticed it had gone on offer two days after I placed my order. My laptop hadn't started production, I hadn't been charged and still had the option to cancel the order.

I decided to contact Lenovo support via phone and ask if I could cancel the order so I could reorder it with the current offer. The guy on the phone told me not to cancel the order, but rather just take a screenshot of the offer and send it to lenovo support via email. Which I did.

My laptop arrived weeks later and still nothing from support. Since then, I have contacted Lenovo support and asked for the refund of the difference. They keep asking me to send a screenshot of my order and the offer that was available at the time. I keep sending them but they keep stating that the pdf files are not attached to the email when they quite blatantly are.

I am sick of this unprofessional attitude and lack of accountability.

I sent in a request to solve a purchase issue with details, apology came back saying some one would deal with problem, then received an email requesting same details I'd already sent, this cycle has repated six times contacting them via email, phone and social media - social media is quicker but still goes round in circles

The P11 Pro Gen2 tablet should already have Android 13 since Q1, they pushed it to Q2 and to Q3 after a while.

yoga 7 keys falling off called to discuss was told they dont cover anything like that so no warrenty on their goods stay away from lenovo previos lapytop last 5 years which i stil use teh new ones are rubbish 2 months old and falling apart

If you reach out to lenovo support, expect more problems than you came with

I reached out to lenovo support about an issue with my battery in the hopes that it would be covered by my warranty. They later told me that issues with the battery are not something they would cover, but they did not tell me this before messing around with my computer for a few hours, updating drivers, and doing who knows what else. Now my keyboard light won't turn off, and it has turned the computer functionally useless for me. Every time I have reached out to lenovo support, they have not only not helped me, but they have made everything worse and/or created new issues. This has happened at least half a dozen times in the past. This is the last lenovo product I will ever purchase. I can't say I have ever regretted a purchase as much as this.

Could not be worse. Avoid the brand.

I bought the on-site premium
warranty for our laptop which includes accidental damage.

The power supply is not working.

They didn’t look at it or ask any questions at all - they just said power supply problems are caused by the user and so are not covered - and that was that.

Bought their premium onsite support - it's not as advertised

Bought their premium onsite support, and Lenovo support technician did the most basic test over the phone (in fact a useless/non-test - was asked to remove all of the cables and power, then press the power key for 30 seconds.. (as if that's going to do anything with no power...) Then he told me it wasn't repairable on site and would have to be sent in. I'd already diagnosed it as a system board issue, so knew exactly which part was required, and also that it would take ~15 mins to replace (probably 10 screws total including the case !). Why advertise and sell onsite support if you don't even come and look at the issue. It appears the service providers are offering an on-site service they have no intention of honouring.

Bought a Lenovo legion

Bought a Lenovo legion. After few month of usage, latch issue. Send in for repair. 3 weeks later ask for status, no respond. Few days later send another reminder, another email from premiumsg auto reply. No status. Call the hotline for 3 consecutive days, promise to call me back to advise, no call received. Can't use my laptop for work for more than a month, no choice got to buy another laptop to use, of course not Lenovo. Surprise to see such service happen in first world country. What's the point of buying or offering competitive price or specs where at the end of the day, end up buying another laptop to use. Hopeless. Don't understand why this service centre even exists.

So far Lenovo won't fix my laptop…

So far Lenovo won't fix my laptop (Thinkpad Z13).

When in a quiet environment (my home) the laptop makes a quiet but high pitch electrical buzzing noise which can be heard from across my living room (it's inaudible in a busy workplace). I'm sensitive to this type of high pitch buzz, so i've been unable to use the laptop at all while at home. The laptop came with Lenovo Premier Support, but so far they've dismissed the issue as coil whine & have effectively said 'we can't/won't fix this, you'll just have to live with it', leaving me with an unusable laptop.

I've used higher & lower power laptops, less expensive & more expensive laptops, & none of which had this issue, but Lenovo seem to not care their laptops have this defect & won't rectify this.

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Their warranty isn't worth anything, so I will avoid in future.

Edit (19/06/2023) - The Laptop was returned to Lenovo for further inspection, & they again insist the issue is coil whine, won't do anything to fix it, & keep insisting this is to be expected (even though I've used many laptops, older/newer, more/less performance, & with no issues, only Lenovo seem to not be able to design a competent device). The laptop is being returned to me, it will be immediately sold, & i'll never buy another Lenovo product again.
