Friendly, informative, efficient service

It is so easy to set up a over 50s plan, I have four set up now and there's no medical to have, the £140 gift card is a nice touch as well, a great company

Sunlife is a ultimately fantastic company and it was so easy and very well explained what you will receive and the weight off my shoulders for my when I pass, definitely a million star rating as far as I can see, absolute fantastic.

I needed to boost my over 50s plans already have 2 policies with sunlife it was so quick and easy to do on line , chose the monthly amount showed me exactly what the payout would and was happy with amount

I really appreciated that I could request a quote via email and not have constant calls. I ended up calling them after a quote was given as I had a few questions. I spoke with Scott who was not only extremely knowledgeable, but was very personable and took the time listen to my questions and concerns providing straightforward answers. I did not feel in the least, that I was in any way, being rushed or pressured into purchasing a policy.
The negatives I found with the company are that:
1) The life expectancy age, being the age you reach when you start paying in more than would be paid to your beneficiaries, is extremely short considering how much longer people are living.
2). I was originally looking online at the Guaranteed Inheritance plan instead of guaranteed whole life and was given a really obscure and confusing online reply why one couldn't be offered but there wasn't a phone number or email address provided to enquire about why it was denied and as it is apparently an "online only" product no-one under the general Sunlife phone number could provide answers. Which made it feel a little clickbait(ish).
3) I was not happy about not being allowed to name a beneficiary.

I am now waiting for the welcome pack to arrive and if I have any further questions after I receive it I hope to speak with someone as professional and helpful as Scott.

Luke was very helpful and professional when setting me up on something more appropriate.

I found exactly what I wanted, it was lovely speaking to Jane she made the quote fast,clear and incredibly easy, she was so helpful. I had been dreading getting a quote thinking I'd be on the phone for hours,it'd be complicated and drawn out however it turned out to be the opposite thank you very much.

Very helpful customer service person who helped me take out a new policy with great ease and very timely.
