Mauro was super responsive and kind. The home was exquisite - the view! Perfect for us.

Centrally located, view was phenomenal apartment was spacious and very clean. The only issue was the stove wasn’t working properly but we spent very little time in the apartment and the microwave worked perfectly. Would definitely stay here again!

Matteotti Residence is very well located in the main shopping street in Ortigia. Restaurants and markets are within walking distance. The apartment is beautifully decorated, very clean and modern including a fully equipped kitchen. Internet and cable TV work perfectly.Access to the apartment was easy with precise instructions.
The only comment is that being a residential building, other tenants leave the trash right in the building entrance so we even had to move some trash bags to access the entrance one night.

Excellent location, lovely sea views, nicely furnished for cooking and relaxing. Modern, simple décor, austerely neutral. Very reliable internet! My stay was relaxing and quite comfortable.
I happened to break an espresso cup; when I emailed the management, a kindly person showed up a few minutes later with a replacement and asked if I needed help cleaning up. Extraordinary!
A few small things would have made my stay even better: a QR code on the info sheet with information about using the kitchen appliances and the thoughtfully provided safe; also to explain the blinking (wifi?) device on the back of the main door. I wish there had been a full-length mirror on the inside of a closet door. Also a few individual packets of salt and pepper; hardly worth it to buy full-size for a few days.
But overall, a serene perch above Ortigia, an oasis of calm in a bustling ancient city. Reasonably priced, considering its location, pristine condition, and attentive service.

Wonderful apartment in the center of Ortigia. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

The property is absolutely stunning. Despite temperatures close to 45*, the elevation (90m) allowed the breeze to be almost constant. Another point is a super-size pool which even in the heatwave kept the water very refreshing and clean. The pool depth is ranging from knee depth to 2 meters, roughly half and half). On top of that there is a very good tennis court and table tennis. You are really alone, the closest villa is 300 m away across the lemon, orange and olive trees surroung the house. The house itself is huge with five bedrooms and huge common area. Around the pool, you have several areas where you can chill, including big gazebo with a table for 10 people bordering a garden kitchen with gas fired stove.
Another strong side is the service team. Giuseppe was fantastic. We had problem with arrival because of the Catania airport fire. So we changed destination airport and ETA several times. Giuseppe not only waited for us at the property but also bough for us several items we asked for breakfest.
Giuseppe was very helpful but really unintrusive, accomodating our schedule to do maintanance.
There were couple of issues we raised with Giuseppe and the owner, which was absence of a grill and the fact that due to the salinity of the air, the door knobs tend to squeek a bit. They took account and I am sure it will be fixed for the next visitor.
Overall, the offer is great value for money. We rent similar properties every year, mostly Tuscany and Northern Italy and for such a stunning, secluded villa, you would pay 50-100% more.

The apartment is very nicely furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped.
The highlight is the terrace, the view is incredible.

Great location, and lovely design. The room was a little dirty though with unwashed pots and stains on sheets. Did not complain whilst there as not worth the hassle and disgruntled hosts. Also Wi-Fi spotty on first day, and wasn’t working second day.

We stayed in Pierpaolos flat for one week in May. The bed was very comfy and the flat was very quiet. The kitchen was very well equipped. I would go back to this flat anytime.

The apartment was fresh renovated, clean, had everything we needed and a beautiful sea view. The communication with Ylenia, the host, was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Lovely apartment, spacious and clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Tiny balcony, but with furniture, that’s not easy to find in Sicily. Communication via Whatsapp worked smoothly and I received the entrance codes 1/2 hour before check-in by email. A big plus is the lift (though old and small, it worked fine!) can definitely recommend this apartment!

My daughter and I were quite happy about our staying in this centrally -
located apartment in Lampedusa.
It is important to specify that although be placed in the centre of Lampedusa and close to Airport, we heard little noise either during day or night.

Ylenia, the lady who welcomed us was in contact with us on WhatsApp and always replied to our questions.
However,my recommendation to the host, would be to provide some essentials such as tea bags , soluble coffee bags, some olive oil , detergent and soap because
little things are greatly appreciated by the guest ,especially when the arrival is at the end of the week.
Furthermore, I would recommend more written instructions in order not to cause misunderstandings.
Apart from that, I would recommend this place to whoever wanted to visit Lampedusa .

The room is Incredible! Very comfortable, all new and equipped with everything we needed. The Jacuzzi adds a lot. It's right inside Ortiga neighborhood, the best place to be in Syracuse with tons of bars, restaurants and shops.

Descriptions and expectations fits reality. The flat looked like in the pictures, clean, great service, full kitchen, location was sentral and the information guide was also realy usefull.

Communication was so easy, fast, fluid and helpful. From the start we had reliance in our contact person, so we felt safe, and every inconvience was immidiately solved.
Home is traditional sicilian, retro, original, clean, very interesting designed, in Ortigia historical part of Siracusa, in old Jewish area, it's lack of natural light, because of configuration of buildings around the stay, but instead of that, it has so interesting sistem of lights in the walls and from the ceiling.
We strongly recommend this guesst house for persons which are artsy, traditional lovers and retro lovers.

We definitely liked the place. The apartment is furnished really nicely, well organized and equipped. It's also very clean and located very well.
It's run very professionally - we received a guide with suggestions (towns to visit, natural places, places to eat etc.) and it was very helpful!
We would for sure book this place again:)
