Subcold Super85 Beer Fridge
I recently purchased a Subcold Super85 beer fridge and its great. The fridge chills quickly and from beign plugged in, within an hour was down to 6 degrees which was a great and holds the temperature well. Looks great under a worktop. Standard delivery was quick and the fridge was very well packaged in tough cardboard and polystyrene and arrived with no damage. Very pleased with my purchase

I placed my order for a drink fridge. It was sent out within a couple of days. I was kept informed of the delivery and which company would be delivering my fridge. It was very well packaged. The delivery company were very helpful. I am very happy with the fridge and service I have received.

Received a Mini fridge in good time but totally damaged. Door off plastic pieces in the bottom and didn’t turn on. Not the delivery company the packaging inside the box was missing or what was there was damaged.
Customer services were like hitting a wall and only interested in the return and telling me it would take 10 days. 3 phone calls to find a solution which was buy another fridge on the internet and wait the refund……. Wow what a great British company. Sad thing is I have used them before but never again.

Our Customer Service team responded promptly and offered a return and full refund for the damaged item. As the same model was unfortunately unavailable from our refurbished stock, we were unable to offer a direct refurbished replacement. When you discussed purchasing another item, our team also offered an additional 5% discount code towards a replacement as an additional gesture.
We appreciate that this was not the resolution you were hoping for, particularly as you were seeking a further discount of a minimum of 10%+. However, we do feel our team provided the available resolution and assistance throughout your enquiries, including responding promptly on each occasion of multiple messages and phone calls.
We’re disappointed to hear that your previous positive experience with Subcold has been overshadowed by this situation, but we remain committed to handling returns and refunds fairly and consistently in line with company policy.
We hope you find a replacement fridge for your daughter for her university studies and sorry we can’t meet your specific needs on this occasion.

Good size. I brought this Table Top mini Fridge because it states that it is quite. It's not as quite as I was hoping for. Does keep things super cold. Just the on and off noise can be off putting. I wanted it for my bedroom but, having to put it in hallway. You still here the noise. Wish it was quieter.

One minor issue:
- had to swap door so hinges on left
Difficult to get to screws
Difficult to get the plastic blanks out - got there in the end with Google and a hairdryer
Perhaps the boffins in the lab can tweak the hinge design
An official “How to” You Tube tutorial would be helpful as the written instructions for changing the door aren’t very detailed
Otherwise an outstanding product 👍👍

Very disappointed
Very disappointed with our Subcold Super 85. It's almost impossible to swap hinges without damaging the fridge as the instructions are totally useless (and incorrect). Had hoped for both a Youtube tutorial and spare parts to replace the damaged parts. Also the configuration of shelves is very limited and the bottom shelf does not line up with the top of the condenser. Also the internal diagram on the Subcold website is incomplete as there is a fan at the middle top of the internal compartment which further restricts storage All in all a waste of £230!
