Slowly slowly ease into them.
For the first three or four days I staggered the wear times as suggested. Now I can wear them for a day without other leg pains or cramps. So far there isnt any real improvement to my heal pain but I'm hopeful that over time it gets better with these soles.

Hey Ken - I would strongly recommend you check the size you got and compare it with your foot length. I've kept track of our 1 star reviews from men and 95% of them have ordered based on shoe size rather than foot lenght and I've designed the insoles to be anatomically accurate to fir your feet, not just your shoes.
Men tend to have much more muscular feet which is actually a good thing until they have to squeeze into standardised shoes that have a very narrow toebox and are tight in width. So they go up in length to get nmore room and end up with poor fitting shoes. Then they go and order our insoles to suit their shoes and not their foot dimensions.

I can’t actually believe it
I can’t actually believe it! After months of physio I can finally run again! I am so impressed. I was back to running but would be in pain and hobbling afterwards. Now with the insoles in, I’m running and post run I can walk pants free. This morning I even got out of bed without limping! I wouldn’t have believed it myself if I didn’t try them!

Hey Joan, natural cork is very shock absorptive and flexes with how your feet move. Our insoles can take a couple of days to get used to, that's why a break in period is strongly advised. Well I followed the instruction for…experiment
Well I followed the instruction for wearing my left foot has more pain than the right . Day 2better than day 1.I had the insoles for a month prior to the shoes . Now I am using both together and find I am walking easier than with the orthotics made for me by my physiotherapist . I wanted to by a pair of the all black sneakers like my white ones but you mo longer have my size . How long can I expect the insoles to last prior to replacement

Give your feet the support they crave
I love my Stryda insoles more than ones a Podiatrist made for me at significantly greater cost. My husband and I both wear them when we go bushwalking for hours at a time.

Hi, sorry to hear you haven't had the best results yet. There are 2 main possible causes and they are unique to men and women. Both are due to shoes being designed so poorly across the board as below.
1. (WOMEN mainly) Footwear they are paired with as womens shoes are almost always too pointy at the toebox and tight on volume. If it's an issue like plantar fasciitis, this will perpetuate the root cause of it's development and persistence.
2. (MEN mainly) Sizing is a major issue for men and some women with wider and more muscular feet resulting in them having to go up in size and as a result more length than is ideal for their feet. If the size for STRYDA soles is selected for shoe size only and not your measured foot length, this can cause discomfort as our insoles are designed to fit your feet very precisely rather than your shoes alone.

I’ve been dealing with plantar…
I’ve been dealing with plantar fasciitis for over 12 months, and the pain was relentless — especially first thing in the morning, throughout the day, while driving, and even when getting up from the lounge during the night. It felt like I was in discomfort almost 16 hours a day. I’ve now been wearing my new Stryda soles for just over two weeks, and I can genuinely feel a significant difference. The pain has reduced dramatically. I had previously tried $40–$50 pairs from the chemist, but there’s absolutely no comparison — it’s like chalk and cheese. Yes, I had to wear them in gradually, but the improvement has been incredible. The pain has eased tenfold, and for the first time in a long while, I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel.
I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first. But I knew I had to try something — living in that much pain every day just wasn’t sustainable. I’m so glad I did.

I loved reading every word of your review Paul, I went all in on STRYDA soles because there simply wasn't an insole on the market that conclusively met the needs of my patients and knowing there are so many others beyond my clinic who are desperate for a solution drives me to fight to give people back their lives.
Foot pain can genuinely drain you of hope and quality of life. It doesn't help that there are so many treatments, products and gimmicks that also drain you of money, time and energy. So I'm so grateful to see you sharing your experience which encapsulates everything I set out to achieve with STRYDA.
Now we are going again and putting it all on the line with our footwear, because they too, need to be revolutionised. I can't do the work I love and answer calling without the voice of our community.

Quality product delivering noticeable results!
After ordering my Stryda’s the delivery and communication were excellent. I’ve only been wearing them in my shoes for 1 week but am already feeling noticeable improvement to my arches and my entire feet and legs in general. Niggling injuries from long distance hiking have improved out of sight and generally my feet feel a lot stronger. I’m very happy with this purchase.

The best orthotics you can buy

Exactly how it was advertised
Exactly how it was advertised. Used it for an hour first day and increased time of usage over the next few days until I wear them constantly in my work boots. A definite improvement in pain after about a week later - now, next to no pain. Love it. The pressure between the ball of my foot made a huge difference. Just allow a couple of days to get used to them.

I could not do daily walking exercise…
I could not do daily walking exercise or stand very long at work for 2 months with planta fasciitis and I was desperate to find relief as my custom orthotics was not working at all. I followed the instructions wearing stryda soles daily and am very happy with the results. The soles fit perfectly inside my work and walking shoes. I don’t feel any pins and needles when standing and walking and can confidently put all my weight on my feet and don’t feel any discomfort. Thank you stryda for giving my feet comfort.

Worth a look if you have collapsed arches
I have pretty serious overpronation and collapsed arch issues from close to a decade ago
Not knowing what was going on, and my local doctor couldn't tell the difference between muscle strain and gout, I wandered through the foot support space for a while - everything from insoles from the local chemist, to superfeet, to close to getting custom orthotics made up
In more recent years, my trusted brands that enable me to keep walking decent distances / snowboarding, have been Tread Labs and Sole - both of these brands have served me well
I am pleasantly surprised to have come across a local Aussie brand making quite a decent product - I think Thien has done really well with what he has developed
My breakdown: the cork material is noticeably shock absorbing - I'm not talking soft and spongy like Hoka shoes, but rather just that nice little whisper of softness, on top of whatever shoe you might be wearing
The heel cup is accommodating and decently deep, so that your heel is cradled and rests in there nicely
Arch support is cleverly done - there are solid ridges underneath the arch, which means that the arch support never bottoms out - it always "catches" your arch. Whilst you can't choose your specific architect like you can with insoles like Tread Labs, it still works, and works very well at that
The metatarsal pad is good - I've used other brands with met pads that have been hit and miss - you can feel these ones, but they are not obnoxious or intrusive in any way - I kind of feel like they will be helping my feet, without putting too fine a point on it
Overall, this is a very good insole - currently in Japan at the moment, walking around a fair bit more than I usually do back in Australia, and so far I have found these insoles to be more comfortable, and more foot-friendly than my Tread Labs (this is saying something - I have used Tread Labs for years and trust them as my go-to, these Strydas seem to be out performing them)
I will be buying another pair when I get back home.
5 stars because at this price point, I feel that Thien and Stryda are offering a very good product, that actually works
I would like to see Strydas expand into maybe offering the same product, but without the metatarsal pad - sometimes I feel like it's nice just to have a flat 4 ft but still with the heel cup and good arch support

Have been wearing Stryda insoles at first was uncomfortable took about 3 days to wear in and now commutable and foot pain has gone and a lot less knee pain
Work very well once worn into your feet.
