We booked a Hop-on Hop- off tour with Stromma in Copenhagen for four people.
Due to a marathon, the inner city tour route could not operate - but there was no clear information, no announcment from staff, and tickets were still being sold as if all routes were running normally.
I contacted the company several times, but they refused to offer any form of compensation.!

Very disappointing and not the experience I hoped for in Denmark.

First, we did the Under The Bridges of Stockholm and the boat trip was interesting and uneventful. Next morning we went on the Hop On Hop Off bus tour, but the commentary equipment went down, so we decided to give it another go after our lunch.This time the trip went very well and we were most fortunate to meet one of the Stromma team, Jason, a charming guy, to whom we chatted. He gave us some really helpful advice, and since he mentioned we should take the Archipelago Tour, and would himself be on the boat, we had no hesitation in booking.

We purchased four online tickets for the Grand Canal Tour in Copenhagen. The ticket didn't state from which pier our boat was departing (mentioned only on the last line of a lengthy confirmation email promoting other tours), so we erroneously embarked on the cheaper Classic Canal Tour, which showed us only the central canals. The captain scanned our tickets but didn't inform us about the mistake. When we realized the error, it was too late to jump off. The ticket booth employees were quite arrogant, telling us it was our fault, but at least they provided us with the customer service contact. Then, a representative from Stromma kindly replied to our written request for reimbursement (the Classic Canal Tour was DKK 360 cheaper than the one we paid for) and managed to fix the situation. The Classic Canal Tour itself was pretty good, but our encounter with the employees at the booth strongly penalised the whole experience.

Please avoid any services from this company. They are dodgy. For example, they sell Copenhagen card but it does not even have half the benefits of the official Copenhagen card but is priced same as Copenhagen card. The total additional cost for me was £450/- for two over 5 days. This is because the stromma card does not include any transport and many of palaces like Amalienborg, Rosenburg, Kronborg and many other places. You will regret a lot if you buy their Copenhagen card (Copenhagen city pass). Please beware. This is like Spoofing website
