Dishonest, unreliable and despicable customer service

Lied to me about multiple things including "customs delays", failed to communicate repeatedly our install time despite having already taken our money. Eventually when installed, promised to return in "a few weeks" to tighten up the tent as part of a necessary standard procedure, as they called it, to prevent the tent collapsing once it settled. Never came to tighten it, nor fit the wooden poles we ordered it with, despite chasing several times via email and telephone (which they never answer). Then after 3 months the tent collapsed and we had to pay a REPUTABLE company to come and re-erect the stretch tent. Absolutely horrendous service. They are still ignoring my calls and emails. AVOID!!!!

AVOID these bullies & con artists

Avoid these con artists like the plague. We bought a custom tent from Stretch Tent Productions that - when finally installed 3 weeks later than agreed - was too small for the space, and did not fit the brief agreed on at the survey. Instead of offering a solution to their mistake, we were offered another product at £1200. When we explained that we should not front the cost of the mistake and would not pay the 25% balance invoice for the tent until the issue was rectified, the company became aggressive and threatened that if payment was not received that day in full and we accept the tent as is, then they would remove the tent the following morning and we would forfeit 75% of the payment we had already made (7.5k). They did this knowing we had bookings we were committed to, and essentially held us to ransom. I genuinely cannot understand the stance they took, and their absolute unwillingness to find a solution that satisfies both parties. At the enquiry stage they were communicative and prompt, but as soon as the 50% deposit payment was made they became incommunicado, wouldn’t respond to calls or messages, and the 3 week deadline for install came and went. Steer well clear of these horrible people and do not let their initial service fool you. Also associated with Statement Marquees, Slick Outdoors and QTents UK
