Easy to create a domain name. But very difficult to setup a new website, even for an experienced IT Pro.

The Strato domain packages didn't make any sense.
There was no way of getting the right packages. misleading information followed by them giving you no other option than to start another contract. Afterwards they then make you pay for their own mistake by billing a 5 euro transfer fee. After already having to pay the setup fee twice forcefully.
After finally reaching someone on the phone they didn't want to do anything about it.
Worse service ever
Worse service ever, I used it for a year or two.
Just lags, doesnt work. and when contacting them, they won't help.
But they will charge you perfectly on time.
Don't use Strato.
I am down $100+ with nothing to show for it.

I bought a domain from them
I bought a domain from them, it said it was available. The money has been taken from the account. Domain not started. After 3 e-mails over 2 weeks, when I wrote that I would contact iDeal, they only wrote that they would cancel the contract. Contact massacre, Internet service without chat in the 21st century? In addition, quarantine domains shown as free. There are numerous other services in NL with better connections. And let's be honest, Internet services should be available 24/7, so contact should be quick, e.g. Live chat (not email 2 weeks waiting for message) . I DO NOT Recommend! In addition, they delete your account and you can't log in because it no longer exists. So you have no way to manage your data. SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THIS!
Scam
Tried to purchase several domains and have failed to deliver on all of them. Then it's impossible to get a hold of them to cancel accounts and packages.
Strato is the best!
Working with strato is fast, easy and user friendly. From site building to Registering a domain. Totally worth the money! I wouldnt be having a website without Strato. Thanks!

The domain name rcnnieuwegein.nl has been deleted. For the next forty days, the domain name will be in quarantine. While the name is quarantined, no one else can register it, but you can have it reinstated. So, if the deletion was a mistake, you can get it corrected.
If you need more information, please contact Cronon GmbH. They can get the domain name reinstated for you. Alternatively, you can get it reinstated through another registrar (hosting service provider).

Ik heb op 24 januari mail gestuurd dat website en mailadressen onbereikbaar zijn.
Kan ook niet inloggen dus ook geen gegevens bekijken (facturen etc.)
Kan dus daar ook niet checken of er facturen openstaan.

Really great VPS, everything is unlocked and it feels like dedicated server. Installed and certified by default system management is great, but I changed it to Virtualmin

Their emails and registration system is unclear to me
I purchased, chose thesame domain name with both .nl and .com and waited for them to get activated. Couple hours later i recieve 2 emails that with both requests 'the system wasn't able to activate the domain because its already in use or the personal data was not right' (wierd unclear message). So i just tried again with both the .nl and .com version (because i liked the name and i wanted to be sure) and now it has registered only the .nl version and not the .com version... why is this so unclear?
On top of that, their helpdesk page is really unstable. At first, everytime i try to send a help request, the page just reloads and doesn't do anything. Now after some patience days later i can't even get into the helpdesk because the 'accept cookies' pop-up pops back up everytime i press accept, and i cannot find their direct helpdesk email online to get help. Extremely frustrating.

We have our email service at Strato and its fast and extremely cheap in comparison with other mail services. Before we joined Strato we paid almost double the price. We also run a couple Wordpress websites and they are cheap and run flawlessly. Strato is a must, doesn't matter if you have a small budget or if you are a larger company.

I gave a one-star review to this company as I faced very strange experiences. I realized that one of my websites (manzra.nl) which is hosted by Strato is giving an error of 404. As normal action, I called the customer support line, and one of their customer support agents explained to me that this website has been erased! and he doesn't have access to the log file to see what was happened! As it's a really very strange action, I asked to know who's and when erased this website. In addition, I don’t have any more access to my logs file or the admin page of this website.
The main issue is that this website is really new, and I’m also a new customer of Starto. I’m just worried about how this company can perform such a critical action without informing me or having any tools to track what happened.
This behavior led me to stop this subscription per direct and stopover to another professional host provider company as I'm not feeling comfortable anymore with Strato.
By the way, I had the same issue last week with my other website (hagostrading.nl) after I called customer support and no one could help me to fix the issue, I fixed the issue by myself.
Therefore, I will never ever advise anyone to use this company's service because of the service I mentioned above. In addition, they don't have any support at the weekend and are unprofessional customer service agents.
