Storing.com were absolutely amazing !

Storing.com were absolutely amazing !
We had to leave our rented home within 48 hours and they accommodated our every need.
Super efficient, friendly, professional they offered one of the best services I’ve ever received from a company. All the removal guys are super professional and super helpful.
Cherrelle and Reon who work within the office seamlessly cover every aspect of your needs.
Highly highly recommend them.

Extremely helpful and excellent value

Extremely helpful when needing storage for house contents at short notice. Pricing was very competitive and staff most accommodating when arranging numerous visits to clear contents.

Staff at the Bedford depot

Staff at the Bedford depot , Cherell and Reon, have been great, very helpful and even lent me some locks.

Great option for short term storage.

Used Storing.com storage facility. I found the staff extremely friendly, their services are competitively priced. The site is very secure, safe and clean and 24 hour access is available with the use of a swipe card. Most significantly for us, Storing.com were unique to other service providers as they were wiling to assist me with unloading an item that I would have been unable to unload without their assistance. Worthy of a five star rating.

Can I give them 0 stars? All my possessions burnt down under their care and they have said it is nothing to do with them. Their motto 'safe keeping. We care" Don't believe it. Still trading at their other sites like nothing has happened and wiped their hands of the hundreds of customers who have lost everything...

Do not put your trust in Storing.com

I put my trust Storing.com and they let me down completely.
My precious possessions were all destroyed when their Twinwoods warehouse burned down and they didn't bother to let me know for a week. Even then they sent out a generic email at 4pm on a Friday, trying to avoid any engagement with upset customers. They wouldn't respond to any subsequent emails, sent out holding circular emails and wouldn't engage in any meaningful way on the telephone. Their lack of empathy or even basic courtesy was quite startling. It even took repeated requests to get the rental costs due back despite the obvious distress suffered by myself and the 800 other customers. Then despite assuring me when I stored my belongings that their insurance would cover my possessions in the event of a disaster like a fire, after a long, drawn-out process, Storing.com have denied all liability and have refused to pay one penny of compensation for what is for me an incalculable loss. You might as well put your possessions out on the street as put them into storage with this company; the protection Storing.com claim to offer does not stand up to scrutiny.

All my belongings turned to dust and…

All my belongings turned to dust and all they can say is sorry but nothing to do with us!
I lost everything & they still took money for storage up until the day the place burnt to the ground. They stored my belonging in a wooden crate next to a building with explosives. If I knew that I would not have stored there!
They are not taking any responsibility and I am left with nothing. DO NOT USE THEM.

An awful company

An awful company - stay away!! Since burning most of my possessions to ash, communication from storing.com has been cold, infrequent and with the sole aim of avoiding any responsibility. It looks increasingly unlikely there will be any compensation without a protracted legal fight. There's a reason they're cheaper than the competition, but they're not worth the cost.

I LOST EVERYTHING AND THEY DON'T CARE!

I lost everything & they don't care.
Appalled by the way they've handled our claim, its been months with no sign of getting any compensation for what was burnt down at their Twinwoods site. They have the cheek to say 'Safe Keeping' on their website... DO NOT USE THEM

Close to 20 grand of belongings BURNT TO A CRISP. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

There was a fire at their twinwoods storage facility (which has now disappeared from their website) at the very start of November 2019. Its February 2020 and not a single person that lost their belongings has had any good news. There were over 800 units burnt to a crisp. The insurance provider they use, Sedgwick, are TERRIBLE taking months to reply to our calls and emails. Therefore, storing.com are TERRIBLE when it comes to them destroying everything you own and then doing all they can not to pay us compensation. They’ve bought p poor insurance to cover your valuables. Avoid like the plague or read their T&Qs extremely carefully if you still plan on using them. I’ve effectively paid them £550 to burn 99% of my earthly belongings and I’m not even entitled to a reimbursement for the fee paid for the ‘service’ as during that time they ‘did keep them safe’. Almost 20 grand of my belongings gone. Goodbye. Poof. Thanks storing.com.

Totally disgusted at the way this…

Totally disgusted at the way this company has handled the insurance claims for its customers, affecting hundreds of people like me who lost their entire belongings. This fire happened in November we are now nearing end of Feb and no outcome, how can companies like this continue to do business if they cant even take responsibility. I had a contract with you not the insurance company, customers should not be responsible for chasing their claims.

Zero Stars

Zero Stars. This company is negligent and do not use them under any circumstances. My entire life was lost in that fire and I am being pushed from pillar to post without any outcome. They will not get away with this.

Zero stars.

Like many others, I lost everything in the fire at storing.com’s facility. There was no compensation, no real accountability — just a cold message about how difficult the time had been for them.

I later discovered my belongings were kept in a wooden crate right next to a highly flammable styrofoam plant. Had I known how unsafe the storage conditions were, I would never have entrusted them with anything.

I wouldn’t recommend storing.com to anyone. Please think twice before using this company.

Negligent storing company

Like other 700+ customers, I also lost all my belongings in a fire at one of storing.com warehouses. Only after this major incident, I realised that the way they store the goods of the customers is by piling up containers made of wood. If a fire affects one container, it quickly spreads to all the others. And that's how the whole content of the building was destroyed.

Although they are arguing that insurers are dealing with the situation (and rejecting all claims), the main point is that your belongings will not be safe in a business model that doesn't adhere to basic safety measures to prevent fire.

They let my belongings burn - I am devastated

I have kept a storage unit with them for 6 years with personal belongings of the highest importance (some of financial value, some of priceless sentimental value). I maintained this unit through 4 international relocations with the hope that I would retrieve my goods in another year or so. The goods had followed me through 15 years of life and most are irreplaceable... THE WHOLE BUILDING BURNED DOWN IN THE TWINWOODS FIRE and my claim for any form of compensation was REJECTED after keeping me waiting for months. I can't begin to describe the deep sorrow and anger I feel whilst writing this review..I am a grown man and I am about to cry at the injustice, the rotten insensitiveness of it all... THAT THEY WOULD HOST MY GOODS IN FACILITIES WITHOUT THE PROPER FIRE SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANYTHING is impossible to imagine! In addition to this pain, the whole process of handling the claim was cold-hearted, distant, insensitive and painfully long. I have paid north of £6,000 over years for a simple service: HOST MY THINGS SO I CAN GET THEM BACK WHEN I DESIRE. The strict minimum is to REFUND ME FOR THE ENTIRE PAYMENT of that service! Storing.com will very likely be compensated for the destruction of their own facility anyway! I didn't sign an inventory or insure my goods against damage at the time as they were all packed properly in anti-shock, insulated boxes and damage from moving the boxes was therefore unlikely; I was prepared to deal with damage, had it happened. BUT THE COMPLETE DESTRUCTION OF MY BELONGINGS with no compensation at all without getting more than 3 emails over nearly 3 months as a 6 years old customer??!!! I am utterly DEVASTATED. So no, I would not advise storing belongings with STORING.COM. The whole idea is UNACCEPTABLE and I will keep the memory of this for years. I encourage everyone to do all that is in their power to share their own story on every possible review website, social network, etc. I will be submitting an article for consideration by The Guardian in the next few weeks...

TERRIBLE

Is anyone interested in organising a class action about the zero insurance? I've been told I'll get nothing because they "weren't negligent".

TERRIBLE. Avoid like the plague. All our belongings were destroyed in the fire and I've now sent 4 emails asking what's happening and they won't even reply. I don't want to get lawyers involved and if they would only respond and sort out the insurance I wouldn't have to - but I can't see the alternative. Should we arrange a class action?

PS I've just seen your reply that you have no record of me or my emails - which is even more confusing & concerning since I received an email this morning from your office saying the investigation was still ongoing. So you do have my email.

All I'm suggesting is that you keep us all updated with what's going on - the communication level has been terrible.

I've lost all my possessions with them

I've lost all my possessions trusting this company. Their warehouse burnt down and they couldn't even inform me, I received the devastating news a month later when I contacted them.

We're 800 people in the same situation and they've shown no empathy, professionalism or interest to be helpful or take any responsibility to help us with this situation.

Are you going to trust a company with these levels of customer care? Avoid them
