The pharmacy isn't aren't interested in customer interaction only their money
For get about using their pharmacy. 3 prescriptions were called in, need for open heart surgery in 4 days, I called for more than a hour to find out when the prescriptions would be ready, so I get someone to go and pick them up, but the only thing you is it rings for a long time, then you get due to a the large volume of customers, call back at another time, then the phone hangs up. After an hour of calling, I drove down; great a heart patent due for surgery driving at night. I even made a call from inside the store, and the same thing phone just rings, and all the people in the pharmacy just ignore the phone.
I make to the pharmacy, and nobody is in-line or waiting. Finally, someone comes to the window. I told her that I had been calling for over an hour to find out when the prescriptions would be ready so I could have someone pick them up. Then I get the lip service that they are short handed. But, she would move it to a priority, I could do some shopping or wait in their waiting room, but it would be about 40 minutes.
And of course no store manager. I talked with the manger on duty about the phone service and again lip service; they go to lunch around 2pm. Obviously he wasn't listening, because I stated that I had been call before 5pm. Then I commented on the fact that phone just hangs up on you, you can't even leave a message or a phone number. His responded that's a cooperate issue. But, he would like the store manager know. He wasn't even interested in my contact information.
I ran across the street and came back to their waiting room; it took them more than an hour to fill the prescriptions. It says a lot about the pharmacy; they aren't interested in any type of customer interaction other than taking your money.
