iRhythm acknowledges a security breach that has negatively impacted its customers -- yet it won't even provide credit monitoring in response. Don't trust them with your data, and don't let them get away with their shockingly poor customer service.

I just received a letter from them stating that they were HACKED back between June 3 to June 8, 2026; here it is October 18, 2026 and I'm just getting notified.Under Maine's Notice of Risk to Personal Data Act, companies must notify you as soon as possible (no later than 30 days); typically when highly sensitive data like a Social Security Number (SSN) was compromised, Here it is more than 90 days after the fact.

They claim that name, contact info, address, email, phone number, insurance number, date of service, date of birth. Conveniently they didn't include the fact that the company also has your Social Security Number so they don't have to comply with state laws that require notification when highly sensitive data like a Social Security Number (SSN) was compromised.

While companies have offered 1-2 years identity / credit monitoring; NOT iRhythm. Your on your own. Obviously, they have little concern about public relations measures or to mitigate liability in future class-action lawsuits.

Useless waste of time. I wore it for 13 days. It only recorded the first 24 hours. No indication it stopped recording. It did not fall off. I followed directions. They're probably liable.

iRhythm Technologies, Inc. announced the U.S. launch of its next-generation Zio monitor. All well and good but they have taken a step backward in the transmission of the collected data. Instead of having a method of transmitting the data being collected by the wearer of the device electronically daily or periodically during the day, you have to until the end of the collection process and then mail the data to their lab for analysis. They provide for snail mail, 4 to 5 days delivery via the USPS. When you are dealing with heart conditions you need prompt service. USPS has taken the prompt right out of the equation. Wish irhythm would use a more modern transmission of data method.
