In ranked PUBG servers on PC, it appears that bots are present, but actual cheaters aren't being penalized. I ended up getting banned because I pointed out these bots in ranked matches. They just drop into every game, remain completely still, and wait to be eliminated by the cheaters. It seems like this game is solely focused on profit, and Krafton is only interested in making money.

I am 74 year old, and i played Microsoft Flightsim since the start of the game, for that time very good, bad graphics.
Now i play The last Microsoft Flightsim Premium the Luxe 2020 via STEAM, Excellent, free xbox at start.
Now i ordered by Kinguin.net the newest,

I have nothing todo with XBOX platform,
If you buy it for XBOX, then you can only play, via
a gamepass from xbox cost 12 or 16 euro each month.
I Just bought the / PC CD KEY version, but that isn,t.
Probably is the online PC version from STEAM, the same as i used for MFSF 2020
I didn,t yet use the key, or install the game. (XBOX gamepass!!!!!!)
I PUT A REFUND OR CHANGE TO KINGUIN,
BUT THEY DIDN,T WANT TO DO THAT.
Now for me, i feel very disappointent, about there statement.
I,ve been robbed from my money.
I don,t by the game somwhere else again.
I install the old game MFSF 2020 again, or maybe not.
Maybe i stop flying, with this misunderstanding.
The advertising was very misleading (MICROSOFT DID THIS MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENT, BUT THEY WANT
TO REACT, THEY HAVE NOTHINGTO DO WITH THE ADVERTISEMENT) only interesred IN MAKING MONEY
So both Kinguin.net and Microsoft are in my case guilty!
But officiële not, this is the new age for criminal intenties, They bove have the money, and I got a useless game , not for PC CD KEY,BUT ONLY FOR XBOX S/M nothing else. NO PC CD edition

Flight Simulator 2024 launch was a disaster. Not being able to play the game because of it is stuck loading due to server issues on their end. Before even getting let into the game the refund playtime has already been exceeded. Once the server issues were resolved the game turned out to be in a unplayable state. However steam does not provide you with a refund whatsoever.

Their refund policy is just a scam because online companies can do whatever they want. Even if a product does not function at all. People make mistakes and so do developers, but this isn’t the first launch of a title being a disaster. So they at least should refund the customer if the product is just flawed.

As they say if buying isn’t owning pirating isn’t stealing. Buyer adviced, stop supporting these practices!

Ridiculous piece of junkware, families can't figure out the family view. Now I bought games for my son, from his account, that he can't play when in family view.

Steam grew out of being easy, now it's a pestilence.

Have had Steam since its inception with Half Life 2.

Over the years I've had no quibble refunds; average to good customer service; bought way to many games; used it easily on line and off line; across many machines and shared my account with my family. There was an uptick in seedy porn games a while ago but that seems to have subsided, or at least I don't see them any more.

Overall I have no specific complaints with it as a shop and online library service that is more convenient than DVD's. But seeing as I pay a 30% premium for every game I buy through it I expect at least a service that I have no complaints about. This makes Steam the most expensive software I have ever purchased by a wide margin.
Because this I rate Steam as below average. Its not value for money and I could live without the shop and library. It's most saving grace is how it massively reduces the amount of half arsed anti-piracy malware churned out by publishers. If Steam could get this reduction to 0% I'd rate it a couple of stars higher.

Steam is my favorite, I received good help yesterday due to an error on my side, money on the wrong unused account, so I can use that money on my new account if I buy DLCs or games as a gift.

I get quite a sexual game that is on the main page between recently released. Act normal and stop releasing porn games. This is really not the intention of Steam, which was created to promote GTA, Cyberpunk, The Last of Us, etc. don't buy and spell just to blow your whistle

They advertised peggle on a special package which was R28.00 for 2 peggle games, went to the shop the very next day and bought R80.00 gift voucher which would have covered the special deal and still have R52.00 over in account. When i opened my steam account they stated that the price had changed to a R136.00 for the package, this is false advertising and now i am sitting with the gift voucher because i will not pay that ammount, it is most deceiving and warn people to be wary before they buy from steam.

Protecting scammers/hackers. No refunds on stolen items and money. Support is a joke. Closing tickets w/o solving anything. It's like they are scammers/hackers themselves.

Everything about it is just great and my account have been hacked multiple times and got it back every time bcs of the supporters.

Shady business practice, they allow a developer / publisher to change the terms of service after the sale.

I will be getting my games / software from GOG or pirate them from now on. I will no longer purchase anything from steam moving forward.

Not to be trusted. To recover my password, they ask for cd codes. And I didn't even ask for a game entry, only a recovery of my old password. Don't fall for it. Untrustworthy.

I can't explain with any more better things. This web-app/webstore/game marketplace/game tracker/online chat/game streaming platform is so many things and so good at all of them. Unlike most game marketplace services nowadays, this one actually lets you OWN your games and software. For example, I purchased a video editor software named "Movavi Video Editor 19 Pro". All Movavi products were later on removed from steam in 2021 due to a deal they had. Even though no one can see or purchase the software anymore, I can still freely download it, interact with the community, use the workshop and more. The refund policy is damn near perfect with it being incredibly flexible and the support team is incredible. I recently got my hands on a Steam deck and, well, its also perfect with very little things detouring me.

I 100% will recommend and urge people and PC gamers to use Steam to obtain their games and/or software.

Steam is one of the only places I can rely on to get games on my pc safely.

Steam are currently under massive legal action in the US over 2000 cases being brought against them.

They have facilitated illegal gambling by allowing casinos to directly call APIs.

The reason for my poor review is I feel they have put my gaming library in jeopardy over their inaction.

Digital distribution needs to be regulated to stop these kind of people praying on children.

I've always found the website and software navigation to be quite confusing, and the prices are twice as high as elsewhere. I can think of few reasons to buy games here, they really need to catch up. At least they don't make it difficult to play games purchased elsewhere.
