Can't access account. My account uses an old email and i have to put some code in which i can't access email to get the code. the support page is a list of non helpful information, can't find actual support person to talk too. They need to improve custom support, no everyone is a robot and can follow useless guides. maybe its a sign to switch to xbox and throw Playstation in the bin! cause that what it deserves. lost all my trophies and online purchases.
cant buy or upgrade game
stops me upgrading a ps4 digital game to ps5 digital, store doesnt even let me buy even if i want to, disc is out of question cos sony releases consoles with no drives so you have to pay £100 for one. told it was investigated and it would let me know in 5 days which no one did. i spoke to their so called customer service which no one understands what your talking about and you explain everything 4 times.and they told me to wait still no answer. so after another 4 days i asked to speak to manager which every operator avoids the question so i asked for refund the operator told me to buy the game again on disc and buy the disc drive if i wanted the game so badly.
asked for refund again and was cut off. seems there is no system in place so you can report these rude operators who just send you wrong solutions, no wonder customer service is so laughable. No more PlayStation for me
Bet you can't get a worse exp
Got in touch because I'm paying for premium but I'm only getting access to essential so I wanted to not get robbed by playstation (again) the person dealing had no basic lived knowledge about the playstation and "didn't know" so nothing done but it has been escalated..... Yeah won't hold my breath. Then I asked why my "hours played" was being deleted, they said that it's normal....it's not normal, has only just started to happen. So won't be giving any more money to playstation and just going to rebuild my games library on PC. Playstation used to be top tier, now it's less useful than an used toilet brush holder in a public bog.
It’s possibly the worst service ever
It’s possibly the worst service I’ve ever had. Literally none existent. Can’t access daughter’s account and still being charged. No way to speak to someone. Really awkward website that appears to be designed to stop you accessing contact with a human. Ridiculous. I guess this is what a monopoly leads to. They don’t care about service.
No help at all
No help at all. Attempted to cancel a subscription on my console but no subscription showed up under the menu. Somehow still charged for it. Unbelievably bad customer service felt like I was still talking to a robot. Didn’t give me any help and no refund despite it being their fault.

Worst customer service. I am amaze the contact support on playstation store is up and running. It's a wast of time to navigate the page it’s not fit for purpose. Trying to get help left me frustated when phoning Support they ask for a 10 digit order number the problem is If you have a 15 order number that it they hang up. I went around in circle for half the Day with no resolution. Will not buy from playstation store just incase I need help.

I bought five games on sale, thinking I was purchasing physical disks for my nieces. After the purchase and no shipping confirmation, I realized they were downloads. I immediately got on the customer service chat, which is difficult to find and difficult to get to. There is no direct email to customer service. The return policy says if you have not downloaded it and if it is within 14 days. I don't own a console, so no downloads, and it was requested 30 minutes after the purchase (I had to wait in line). A week later, an email says I've either downloaded the games, or it's been past the 14 days. I went back to the customer service chat, who said, based on the previous chat, they are unable to communicate anything further, and I do not qualify for a refund. I asked what the issue was and who I could contact to see about a refund. They did not answer; they simply DISCONNECTED the chat with no answers: terrible service, terrible customer service, and a terrible website experience.
Scam
The way that they have recurring billing set up is a total scam. I was just charged $180 today for PlayStation premium. I instantly reached out to Support. And they said that they do not do any refunds on recurring subscriptions. I said that I would be contacting my bank. And support said that if I do a chargeback on my account that they will ban my PlayStation account. There is no reason that I can see that they should not be willing to refund me $180 for a same-day charge. Scam

Ridiculous refund policy compared to Steam. Bought a game with wrong version two days earlier. The system doesn't allow rebuying another version with the same account. Cannot return the game after downloading it. Nothing I can do except opening a new account. Customer service acts like a bot and only gives uniform replies with no human customization. And there's no way to submit a reply to follow up the case. I understand this is to prevent players exploit the refund policy but I am still playing the game and want an upgraded version. Absolutely an outdated customer service system. For PC players who use to enjoy the customized service in Steam, beware of this inflexible system in PS Store! Cannot imagine this happening in 2024.
Refund support is terrible
Support agent never allows you to connect to a real agent for a refund, this is terrible, Sony, such a shame.
It keeps saying "

I purchased a DLC with a game I played…
I purchased a DLC with a game I played on PlayStation, but nowhere in the description did it say the DLC was VR. I had to research why I couldn’t play the game online to discover that it was a VR dlc. I had to wait an hour to speak to chat support and I was told that I couldn’t get a refund because I had downloaded it and the agent refused to escalate it. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere. These are expensive games, and if PlayStation isn’t properly labelling the content, they should take responsibility for that. The agent didn’t even bother to check the PlayStation site to verify what I was saying. They just shut me down. Their inflexibility and poor customer service really make me rethink buying from PlayStation in the future.
Screw you playstation support
Screw you playstation support. I've recently created an account. But changed my mind and sold my console. I contacted them to ask for it to be closed. They asked me for the serial number of the console which is absolute rubbish, and a bunch of other questions. I gave it to them TWICE only to be told they can't go ahead with it because the details were wrong. They then left the chat before I could respond. Screw you and Sony. Definitely sticking to xbox.

This PlayStation support is the worst. I purchased a PS4 2013 and am asking if I can still retrieve my account. Still, customer support is asking for PlayStation games purchased from the PlayStation store, even if he has provided all the information he is asking for.
I am unsure if it's worth it since I am retrieving my account for 2024. I haven't played PS4 and will try again, but this gave me a sour taste for even buying any game for PS5.

utter disgrace the phone line is useless and asks you to add a £ sign from your key pad when there is no functionality to do this. The online chat is diabolical and i had to wait all morning to join the queue and when i finally got through i was bumped off and couldn't get back on line to chat again... its a disgrace.

total scam, trying to contact the customer service for a refund, they never reply back, their live chat is never available, everytime it says too busy for days trying, and there is no option or easy way to apply for refund, and once 14 days have passed they will say i had to apply within 14 days. I was WRONGLY charged for a monthly subscription which i never applied for and im for days trying to contact this scam company, NEVER ADD YOUR BANK CARD as payment, or any mistakenly payment taken, you will have to beg them

I been a long time customer. with sony since the ps. i had to reboot the ps4 because it Kept bringing me to the hard set Menu and it signed me out i dont remember my email for the ps4 so i gave customer service my sign in name on the ps4 and model number I was ask for a credit card I told them I buy everything out right I don't buy from the ps store because my card was hacked before then she told me the Serial number don't match the ps4 I don't understand because I been having this system since it 1st came out I tryed to ask to speak to someone else she said no I asked to speak to a supervisor or somebody above her she said that's hard to do because there Ain't no supervisors or anybody else I can talk to at 1pm I was gunna get the ps5 this Friday but I'm gd I'm done with any sony products I prefer to be on Xbox or pc... sony your customers service is Horrible.. for being a long time customer. and have to deal with this is crazy.
