30 years ago I bought via EA Games all the Command & conquer games, and several Need for speed and some others. Some years after Origin started, you could not anymore access your games, without payin... See more

Can't find friends despite typing their name perfectly. No solutions on internet helped. Latest suggestion from support, take computer out of my own home to a different location DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC to connect to their internet to try from their because something something ISP cause things to not work sometimes on a launcher that requires internet.
Awful
Ok, so I am not a regular origin customer (judging by the website so far I’m glad of this), however prime gaming has partnered with them to offer some free games as part of their subscription package.
I am yet to discover how the client works, however it has taken me around 7 visits to their website to find a time when sign in is actually available!!!! To be fair if I was an actual paying customer I would be fuming 😡, however i have only had freebies so far and this is enough to make the conscious decision not to spend money with a site that can’t even support a log in 😂.
So bad
So bad, everything including the name origins is bad, the store sucks, the launcher sucks, everything overall sucks, would choose steam over this any day!
Terrible
Terrible. Customer service is shocking. Everytime you log in the games library takes ages to load up. I bought a game last week and just spent over an hr and a half trying to log into it. Finally thought I was in and it crashed. Really slow. Never get a response from customer service.
worst launcher ever.
worst launcher ever. I wish i could put 0 stars.... EA make millions if not billions every year and they cant even make origin usable. Disgrace
terrible
terrible, terrible platform. While offline Never stays signed in nomatter how many times you check the box. Cannot play games you legally bought without connecting to the internet. They do not care about your opinion because they make so much money from micro transactions and will never change. Unresponsive customer support. They are trying and succeeding in turning gaming into a service. Awful gaming platform.
i had an amazing guy called Mohsin

All games must be repaired every other…
All games must be repaired every other day it feels like. Its amazing when you let a game download for 3 hours just to find out you have to cancel the whole download, repair and then download again. Easy uninstall.
Origins launcher is unsatisfactory
Origins launcher is unsatisfactory, the download/update speeds are slower, than the dead rat in my basement.
Accidentally Link the Wrong Steam Account? Good Luck, You'll Never Get to Connect Another Steam Account Again
My husband accidentally connected his Steam to my Origin account and it's causing problems with his games/purchases. If we unlink, I can never connect my own//any Steam account ever again for as long as I live. I'm told "That's just the rule" and that you used to be able to link new Steam accounts, but EA changed the rules because "players were abusing it." Doesn't matter that ours was an case of accidentally connecting the wrong account and that I don't even play his games, we will never be able to play on the correct accounts. What an absolute crap excuse for a gaming application.
Terrible
I only use it to play Sims. Origin is slow, broken, and they steal your money. The customer service is really bad too, they’re never able to help you with your issues and it feels like you’re talking to a robot. I really wish I could transfer over to Steam, but I’ve spent too much money on Origin, so I’m stuck.
One of the absolute worst
One of the absolute worst , slowest and buggiest game launchers/services out there. Such a shame considering some good titles are offered there.
It is difficult to support the Origin platform
It is not recommended to buy games on the Origin platform. If you want to buy games, you can go to Steam. Because most games on steam are better than Origin in terms of price and service.
for example:
1. You can purchase Battlefield 4 Premium Edition at a discounted price on steam. But on Origin, you have to spend an extra fee to enjoy the same content.
2. You can buy Mirror's Edge Collection at a discounted price on steam
, The DLC even has an 80% off discount. But if you look at it on the Origin platform, there is nothing.
The above example is just the tip of the iceberg.
I think this is like a fool for players who buy and support on the Origin platform.
If it wasn't for Steam to start the game, Origin must be started, otherwise I wouldn't want to touch it at all.
Ridiculously slow download speeds
Ridiculously slow download speeds, always waiting hours for updates that do nothing to fix the numerous bugs the application has had for years. You pay for content (at a higher cost than other platforms) and you're unable to use it due to a buggy platform with the slowest servers around. Honestly I will pirate all the games that require origin in future, life's to short to be wasting it on these incompetent muppets.
Customer support outsourced and not verified by a higher authority
Their customer support is outsourced to India and not double checked by any other authority in case of mistakes.
Their incompetence is appalling and nothing that could inspire a good relation with the customers is present in their communication. Their answers are copy paste and I feel like they are done by robots and not human beings that should use their brain instead of copying an standard answer.
Do not buy games that are strictly linked to the Origin app since you will lose any access to them in case of ban, because the ban is on all the app and the login is no longer functional.
Such a mess...
I would definitely not recommend using…
I would definitely not recommend using Origin, the quality of service is absolutely disgusting. My internet service constantly kept dropping in and out and I was cut of for a month because of there stupidity. Stay well clear.....
